Toner cartridge
A toner cartridge includes a cylinder having an opening and accommodating carbon powder, a transmission member having a pipe portion sleeved onto the cylinder, an end portion and at least one outlet communicating with the opening, a powder guiding member having a main body disposed at the end portion and blades extended from the main body radially, a powder storing cover having a cover body sleeved onto the pipe portion, a powder exiting passage located under the powder guiding member and a powder exit provided on the bottom side of the cover body and communicating with the powder exiting passage, and a spring. As a result, when the blades stir the spring, the carbon powder accumulating in the powder exiting passage can be vibrated, so the carbon powder remaining near the powder exit can be effectively reduced and the powder exit can be prevented from being blocked.
REPLACEABLE UNIT FOR AN ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGE FORMING DEVICE HAVING A RETRACTABLE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
A replaceable unit for an electrophotographic image forming device according to one example includes a housing having a toner reservoir. An electrical connector mounted on the housing is movable between a retracted position and an operative position. The electrical connector includes an electrical contact for contacting a corresponding electrical contact in the image forming device. The electrical contact is electrically connected to processing circuitry on the housing. In the retracted position, the electrical connector is tucked into a portion of the housing. In the operative position, the electrical connector is exposed to permit the electrical contact to contact the corresponding electrical contact in the image forming device. A linkage is operatively connected to the electrical connector and includes an engagement surface accessible on an exterior of the housing to receive an actuation force. Movement of the linkage moves the electrical connector between the retracted position and the operative position.
Developer container, developing apparatus, process cartridge and image forming apparatus
A developer container includes a first sheet member installed on a rotation shaft disposed in a developer containing portion and transporting the developer to a developer carrying member, and a second sheet member installed on the rotation shaft and rotating in the same phase as the first sheet member. One end of the first sheet member and one end of the second sheet member are fixed to the rotation shaft so as to rotate in the same phase, and the other ends of the first and second sheet members are free ends. When the rotation shaft rotates in a state in which at least a part of the developer elevated by the first sheet member is positioned above the rotation shaft, the second sheet member rotates on the downstream side of the first sheet member, so as to control falling of developer on the first sheet member.
Toner case and image forming apparatus
A toner case includes a case main body, a rotating member, a transmitting member and a cover. The case main body contains a toner. The rotating member is disposed in the case main body and is rotatable around a rotation axis. The transmitting member rotates along an outer face of a side wall of the case main body on one side in a direction of the rotation axis so as to transmit a rotation to the rotating member. The cover covers at least a portion of the transmitting member. The transmitting member has a movable part which moves as the transmitting member rotates. The cover has a hole part through which the movable part is exposed.
Toner Cartridge Attachable to Image Forming Apparatus
Toner cartridge includes a housing, an agitator, an auger, a first protrusion, and a second protrusion. The housing includes a first toner accommodating portion having and a second toner accommodating portion. The auger is rotatable about a second axis extending in a first direction and is configured to convey toner from a first toner accommodating portion to the second toner accommodating portion. The first protrusion is positioned at a first side of the second toner accommodating portion. The first protrusion extends in the first direction. The second protrusion is positioned at a second side of the second toner accommodating portion and extends in the first direction.
Developer container and image forming device equipped with same
A developer storage container (30) includes: a container body (31); a lid (32); a stirring member (34); and an input gear (36). The container body includes: a bottom portion (310); an opening (31P) extending in a longitudinal direction thereof; a first sidewall (31R) and a second sidewall (31L); and a storage space (30S) for storing developer therein. The second sidewall includes a bearing portion (312) disposed to face the storage space. The first sidewall includes: a shaft hole (313S) communicating between an outside of the container body and the storage space; and a support portion (313T) supporting a distal end of a coupling (342) of the stirring member from therebelow to prevent the stirring member from falling onto the bottom portion, in a state in which a distal pivot portion (341) of the stirring member is inserted into the bearing portion, and the coupling is disposed facing the shaft hole.
Developer container, developing apparatus, process cartridge, apparatus main body, and image forming apparatus
A developer container includes: a housing chamber 147 which includes an opening 145 and which houses developer; a stirring member 160 which includes a sheet-like stirring portion 160b and a rotary shaft 160a to which the stirring portion 160b is attached; and a first electrode 143 and a second electrode 144 which are used to detect an amount of the developer and which are arranged with an interval therebetween, wherein an area X1 between the first electrode 143 and the second electrode 144 in the housing chamber 147 is positioned below the rotary shaft 160a of the stirring member 160, and the sheet-like stirring portion 160b comes into contact with the area X1 due to rotation of the stirring member 160.
Toner Cartridge
A cartridge includes a shutter that opens and closes when the cartridge is attached and detached to a developing unit or image forming apparatus. The cartridge includes a casing having a chamber with a first opening at one end portion allowing toner to flow out of the casing. The cartridge includes a cover that covers the first opening, movable with the casing and having a second opening allowing toner to flow out of the cover. The shutter is located at the one end portion and has a protrusion further from the one end portion than the cover. The developing unit supports the protrusion when the cartridge is mounted thereon, and the casing pivots with the cover relative to the developing unit between a first position where the shutter closes the second opening and a second position where a third opening of the shutter overlaps the second opening.
