Channel state information measurements for license-assisted access
Systems and methods relating to accurate Channel State Information (CSI) measurements for a License Assisted Secondary Cell (LA SCell) are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, a wireless device enabled to operate in a cellular communications network according to a carrier aggregation scheme using both a licensed frequency band and an unlicensed frequency band operates to determine whether a Channel State Information Reference Symbol (CSI-RS) transmission from a LA SCell of the wireless device is present in a subframe, where the LA SCell is in an unlicensed frequency band. The wireless device further operates to process a CSI-RS measurement for the LA SCell for the subframe upon determining that a CSI-RS transmission from the LA SCell is present in the subframe and refrain from processing a CSI-RS measurement for the LA SCell for the subframe upon determining that a CSI-RS transmission from the LA SCell is not present in the subframe.

A developing device has a developer container, a first stirring member, and a first stirring chamber. The developer container stores toner. The first stirring member conveys toner while stirring it. The first stirring chamber is in the developer container. The first stirring member is in the first stirring chamber. In a top surface of the first stirring member is a toner supply port through which toner is supplied from outside by action of gravity. The first stirring member has, on the downstream side of the toner supply port in the toner conveying direction, a reduced conveying power portion exerting reduced conveying power to toner. The first stirring chamber has a developer stagnation portion at a position facing the reduced conveying power portion. The inner surface of the developer stagnation portion has a smaller surface roughness than the inner surface of the stirring chamber except for the developer stagnation portion.

The developing apparatus includes a developer carrying roller rotatable in a first rotating direction, and a developer regulating member which regulates a thickness of a developer layer carried on the developer carrying roller, wherein at least a part of the developer regulating member is in pressure contact with a surface of the developer carrying roller to form an abutting portion between the developer carrying roller and the developer regulating member, the abutting portion having an abutting width W in a circumferential direction of the developer carrying member of 1.0 to 5.0 mm, wherein in the abutting portion, an abutting pressure has a maximum value in a first area, the first area having a width of 20% or less of the abutting width W from an upstream edge of the abutting portion in the rotating direction, and wherein an abutting pressure in a second area is 0.08 to 0.18 MPa.
Developer cartridge and developing unit provided with the same
A developer cartridge assembled to a developing device defining therein a developing chamber. The developer cartridge includes a first accommodating portion, and a first agitator. The first accommodating portion accommodates therein a developing agent and is positioned beside the developing device. The first accommodating portion includes a first wall part neighboring the developing device. The first wall part is formed with a first through-hole and a second through-hole. The first through-hole is open diagonally downward from the first accommodating portion to the developing device. The second through-hole is open diagonally upward from the first accommodating portion to the developing device. The first through-hole and the second through-hole allow communication between an interior of the first accommodating portion and the developing chamber. The first agitator is rotatably disposed in the first accommodating portion and in sliding contact with the first wall part in a vertical direction.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member, a developer bearing member, a fixing unit including a heating member, a rotary member which is heated by the heating member, and a nip area where the rotary member comes into contact with a sheet, and configured to perform fixing by heating a developer image transferred to the sheet and fixing the developer image to the sheet in the nip area, and a control unit configured to execute, while the fixing is not performed, a mode in which the image bearing member is rotated with the developer bearing member being in a separated position and the heating member is controlled such that a temperature of a portion of a surface of the rotary member, after the rotary member passes through the nip area, is maintained higher than the temperature of the portion during the fixing.
CARTRIDGE AND UNIT
A cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an image forming apparatus includes a cartridge frame formed of a resin material; a plurality of resin members molded on the cartridge frame by injection molding of a resin material different from that of the cartridge frame; a plurality of contact surfaces, provided on the cartridge frame, to which metal molds corresponding to the resin members are to be contacted from the same side when the resin members are molded; and a plurality of resin material inlet ports, provided in an opposite side of said cartridge frame from a side where the contact surfaces are provided. The resin material has been flowed into the cartridge frame when the resin members are molded.
Developing cartridge, process cartridge and image forming apparatus
A developing cartridge includes a developing roller 210d that develops, by way of a developer, an electrostatic latent image that is formed on an image bearing member 207; a developer regulating member that regulates the thickness of a developer carried on the developing roller 210d; and a frame 214a that rotatably supports the developing roller 210d and supports the developer regulating member. The frame 214a has a developing roller support section 214a1 that rotatably supports an outer peripheral face 210d6 of at least one end of the developing roller 210d. The developing roller support section 214a1 has a clearance at a position that, when viewed in the axial direction of the developing roller 210d, overlaps a contact region at which the developing roller 210d is in contact with the image bearing member 207.
