INTERLAYERS AND ENCAPSULATION LAYERS FOR USE WITH HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENTS
Interlayers that exhibit superior properties and that provide desirable optical properties when incorporated into laminates, such as windshields, windows or other glazings containing a holographic optical element (HOE) are disclosed. The interlayers, when used in a laminate in conjunction with the HOE film, maintain and do not detract from the HOE film properties.
COMPOUND, POLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION, POLYMER, HOLOGRAPHIC RECORDING MEDIUM, OPTICAL MATERIAL, AND OPTICAL COMPONENT
A compound represented by the following formula (1).
##STR00001##
[In the formula, A represents a polymerizable group. L represents an optionally branched (n+1)-valent linking group. R.sup.1 represents an aromatic ring group optionally having a substituent. R.sup.2 represents a cyclic group optionally having a substituent. R.sup.3 represents a monovalent organic group having no polymerizable group or a hydrogen atom. X.sup.1, X.sup.2, and X.sup.3 each independently represent an oxygen atom, a sulfur atom, or a nitrogen atom optionally having a substituent. m represents an integer of 0 or 1. n represents an integer of 1 to 3. When n is 2 or 3, a plurality of As may be the same or different from each other. p, q, and r each independently represent an integer of 0 or 1. In the formula, R.sup.1 may be bonded to R.sup.2 or R.sup.3 at any position to form an asymmetric ring structure. In the formula, (X.sup.1).sub.pR.sup.1, (X.sup.2).sub.qR.sup.2 and (X.sup.3).sub.rR.sup.3 are not the same.]
Network polymers and methods of making and using same
The present invention provides in one aspect holographic materials comprising a covalent adaptable networks (CAN) matrix that has exchangeable crosslinks, and at least one writing monomer, wherein upon exposure to a stimulus, the holographic material can undergo photopolymerization and serve as a recording medium.
Photopolymerizable HOE Composition
The present invention relates to photopolymerizable compositions and elements made therefrom, as well as their use. The photopolymerizable compositions are particularly suitable as recording material for optical elements with refractive index modulation, in particular holograms.
FLUORINATED COMPOUND, PHOTOPOLYMERIZABLE COMPOSITION, HOLOGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND OPTICAL ELEMENT COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a fluorinated compound, a photopolymerizable composition, a hologram recording medium, a preparation method thereof, and an optical element comprising the same. The fluorinated compound is included in a photopolymerizable composition, thereby being able to provide a hologram recording medium that not only has excellent optical recording properties but also exhibits transparent optical properties and excellent reliability even in high temperature and high humidity environments, and an optical element including the same.
PHOTOPOLYMER COMPOSITION, HOLOGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND OPTICAL ELEMENT COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a photopolymer composition, a hologram recording medium, a preparation method thereof, and an optical element comprising the same. The photopolymer composition includes an electron donor whose reaction energy with a photosensitizing dye excited into a triplet state is-25 to 0 KJ/mol, thereby being able to provide a hologram recording medium that not only is excellent in optical recording characteristics such as diffraction efficiency which are the basic physical properties of hologram recording media, but also exhibits excellent high-temperature stability over time before recording optical information, so that it can exhibit the originally intended optical recording characteristics even when stored at room temperature to high temperature for a long period of time, and can reproduce clear images without problems such as halo.
HOLOGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND OPTICAL ELEMENT COMPRISING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a hologram recording medium, a preparation method thereof, and an optical element including the same. As the hologram recording medium satisfies a specific element ratio, it not only is excellent in optical recording characteristics, but also exhibits excellent durability against heat and moisture, and can exhibit appropriate adhesive force to transparent adhesives and high transparency.
PHOTOSENSITIVE COMPOSITION, HOLOGRAM RECORDING MEDIUM, HOLOGRAM OPTICAL ELEMENT, OPTICAL DEVICE, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
Provided is a photosensitive composition that can achieve suppression of decoloring of a sensitizing dye during unexposed storage.
A photosensitive composition contains a polymerizable compound, an electron-donating initiator, a dye whose decoloring reaction is promoted in the presence of an epoxy group, and a cationic polymerizable compound having at least one structure selected from the group consisting of a cyclic ester structure and a 3-membered ring ether structure adjacent to a cyclic aliphatic skeleton in a molecule.
COMPOSITION FOR HOLOGRAPHIC RECORDING MEDIUM AND HOLOGRAPHIC RECORDING MEDIUM
This application provides a composition for a holographic recording medium and a holographic recording medium using the composition for a holographic recording medium. In this application, a substrate film-forming substance contained in the composition for a holographic recording medium is structurally designed, and a refractive index of a substrate is reduced to enhance an overall refractive index difference, so that a high-performance VHG is prepared.
HOLOGRAPHIC PHOTOPOLYMER MATERIAL, HOLOGRAPHIC PHOTOSENSITIVE FILM, HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICAL ELEMENT, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A holographic photopolymer material, a holographic photosensitive film, a holographic optical element, and a display device, wherein the holographic photopolymer material includes a polymer matrix, photopolymerizable monomers, and a photosensitizer. An index of refraction of the photopolymerizable monomer is greater than an index of refraction of the polymer matrix. A molecular structure of the polymer matrix includes a linear structure, and branch chains of the polymer matrix include activation groups; and/or the molecular structure of the polymer matrix includes a crosslinked structure.
