Aspects herein are directed to a tubular knit sleeve for a below-the-knee amputee where the tubular knit sleeve includes zoned grip features, zoned cushioning features, zoned traction features, and zoned breathability/permeability features that facilitate the wearer participating in athletic activities, such as wrestling, without a prosthetic leg.

A two sock system, including an inner sock, and an outer sock surrounding the inner sock, wherein the inner sock and the outer sock include a support band system that prevents movement of the inner sock relative to the outer sock. A method of preventing movement between an inner sock and outer sock in a two sock system, by preventing movement of the inner sock on a user's foot, and preventing movement of the outer sock on the inner sock, wherein the inner sock and outer sock are unattached.

A footwear device including a resilient member having first and second ends. The first end can be configured for being connected to a user's foot, and the second end can be configured for being connected to the user's leg above the ankle joint. The resilient member can be configured and positioned for resiliently and rotatably biasing the user's foot about the ankle joint.

Aspects herein are directed to a knit sock having a leg portion and an integrally knit ankle welt extending around a circumference of the leg portion and positioned at a lower end of the leg portion. The knit sock further includes an integrally knit tab located at a back aspect of the ankle welt.

A therapeutic sock includes a knitted body having a top, a bottom opposite the top, an inside side connecting the top to the bottom, an outside side opposite the inside side and connecting the top to the bottom, a heel portion, a toe portion, and an opening into which a wearer inserts his or her foot. At least one elastomeric band is disposed within the knitted body and positioned to strengthen, stretch, or support one or more muscle groups of the foot of the wearer. The at least one elastomeric band is disposed opposite a line of pull of the one or more muscle groups. A knit sock includes a foot portion having an upper instep area and a lower sole area integrally knit of a body yarn in circumferential courses and axial wales. The lower sole area defines inner and outer arch regions. The inner arch region incorporates a targeted compression zone adapted to reside generally adjacent an inner arch of a wearer's foot. The compression zone includes axially extending compression ridges of variable length spaced apart from a top of the compression zone to a bottom of the compression zone. When the sock is worn, a compression force applied by the foot portion within the targeted compression zone is greater than the compression force in directly adjacent areas of said foot portion.

Variable compression garments may use an elastomer such as silicone printed on a textile to create a varying amount of compressive force along a limb. Greater amounts of elastomer may be used to create greater amounts of compressive force.

A sock or similar garment includes a foot part and a leg part, the foot part being designed to overlap the foot of a user and the leg part being designed to overlap at least part of the leg up to below the knee. Optionally, the foot part is closed by a toe part. The sock has, in one or more areas of its surface extension, one or more structural modification elements of at least one layer of the knitting that forms the wall of the stock. Those modification elements may be applied with different techniques, for example, printed with silk-screen, or incorporated or intertwined into or on the structure of the sock's mesh, and are configured to enhance the functionality of the leg and foot according to biomechanical, circulatory and neurological aspects, harmonizing those effects with each other, obtaining therapeutic efficacy and providing prevention and performance enhancement.
