BRAIDED WATCH BAND AND WATCH
In some embodiments, a braided watch band includes a braided band. The braided band includes a first braided band branch and a second braided band branch arranged in a thickness direction. The braided band further includes a first binding yarn and a second binding yarn. The first braided band branch and the second braided band branch to form a separate section and joint sections. In the joint sections, the first binding yarn and the second binding yarn form an orthogonally locking structure. In the separate section, the first binding yarn passes through one of the first braided band branch or the second braided band branch, and the second binding yarn passes through the other of the first braided band branch or the second braided band branch. Portions of the first braided band branch and the second braided band branch at the separate section form a loop.
Wearable Electronic Device Adapted for Supporting Wireless Communications
The present invention provides a wearable electronic device adapted for supporting wireless radio frequency communications including at least one of generating or receiving a wireless radio frequency signal. The wearable electronic device includes a conductive housing, which has a main body and at least a first pair of conductive lugs external to and mechanically coupled to the main body. Each of the conductive lugs has a first end that is mechanically coupled to the main body of the conductive housing and a second end which extends away from the main body along a length of the conductive lug. The main body of the conductive housing forms at least part of an antenna structure that is adapted for at least one of generating or receiving the wireless radio frequency signal. The wearable electronic device further includes a non-conductive pin, which extends between the second ends of the first pair of conductive lugs, and a use location attachment. The use location attachment mechanically couples the conductive housing of the wearable electronic device to a use location via the non-conductive pin and the first pair of conductive lugs. The use location attachment includes a plurality of segments, where at least one of the segments, which most closely mechanically couples to the non-conductive pin and the first pair of conductive lugs, is nonconductive, and where other ones of the plurality of segments of the use location attachment are conductive.
FIXING DEVICE
The invention relates to a fixing device for attaching a band to a watch case by means of a connecting link, the watch case comprising a case middle, at least one pair of lugs and a case back, the connecting link comprising a passage accepting fixing means of attachment to the watch case. According to the invention, the fixing means are incorporated into the connecting link and comprise elastic return means separating two pivots mounted with the ability to move inside the passage, and each capable of moving between a compressed position and a rest position in which the pivots are designed to rest in a hole formed in each lug of the watch case.
TWO-PART SLAP WATCHBAND WITH INTEGRAL PIN RECEIVING CHANNELS AND METHOD FOR MAKING SAME
The slap watchband includes first and second band parts. Each part has an end adapted to attach to a conventional watch casing using a spring-loaded pin. Each part includes a flexible metal strip encased in plastic and a channel in the plastic located proximate the end adapted to receive a spring-loaded pin. The parts are formed in a multi cavity mold by introducing plastic into the mold cavities to form a plastic layer. A flexible metal strip is placed in each mold cavity over the plastic layer. A rod is inserted into the mold such that it extends across the each mold cavity at a location spaced from the metal strip. Additional plastic is introduced into the mold cavities over the flexible metal strip and rod to form another plastic layer. The mold is closed. Heat and pressure are applied to cure the plastic layers and the rod is removed.
Dual Engagement Watch Strap Connector
A wristwatch strap connector for engagement of either of a two piece watch band formed in two sections, or, a single piece watch band formed in a single section to a wristwatch case. The connectors are employed in pairs and each connector is adapted at a first end to engage one side of the watch band case. Once the connectors are engaged, a user can connect either a one piece or two piece watch band to the wristwatch.
Wearable device
A wearable device comprises a body portion, a strap portion coupled with the body portion, the strap portion provided to allow the body portion to be worn on a human body, and a connection module provided in a portion of the strap portion and a portion of the body to couple the strap portion with the body portion. The connection module comprises a connection pin portion provided in the strap portion to detachably couple the strap portion with the body portion and a holder portion provided in an end of the strap portion, the connection pin portion inserted in the holder portion.
Bracelet fastening device
A device for fastening a wristlet to a watch case includes an end body of the wristlet, at least one movable fastening element comprising a pivot part movable between an engagement position in which the pivot part is engaged with the case, and a retracted position where the pivot part is disengaged from the case, a lever movably mounted in rotation on the end body, at least one movable cam engaged with the lever to switch the movable fastening element from the engagement position to the retracted position during a rotation of the lever, where the device comprises at least one static cam fixedly mounted on the end body facing the movable cam, to impose an axial movement on the movable cam during its rotation, and the movable cam is directly formed on the movable fastening element, and arranged between the lever and the static cam.
ACCESSORY CONTACTS
A first connector assembly may be connectable to a second connector assembly using a sliding attachment process, in which a front portion of the first connector assembly is inserted into an end of a slot in the second connector assembly and slides laterally along the slot until electrical contacts on the two connector assemblies are aligned. Electrical contacts of the first connector assembly may be biased proud to make contact with recessed electrical contacts in the second connector assembly. A retraction mechanism may be provided to retract the electrical contacts of the first connector assembly during lateral sliding. An interlock mechanism may be provided to prevent unwanted operation of the retraction mechanism.
