An electronic timepiece includes a date indicator that is an analog display member, a date indicator motor that drives the date indicator, a display position storage that is a nonvolatile memory that stores position information on the date indicator, a receiver that is a time information acquirer that externally acquires time information, and a control section that outputs a drive signal to the date indicator motor and stores the position information on the date indicator in the display position storage whenever the date indicator motor activated with the drive signal drives the date indicator.

WATCH

A watch includes a dial plate, a patch antenna, an upper side display component at a visible side than the dial plate, and a lower side display component at the rear surface side of the dial plate. The watch includes a first component layer on which at least a part of a wheel train mechanism for driving the upper side display component and a motor for driving the wheel train mechanism are disposed, and a second component layer that is positioned between the first component layer and the dial plate, and on which the lower side display component and a driving component of the lower side display component are disposed. The patch antenna is disposed on the second component layer so as to be planarly overlapped with a metal component disposed on the first component layer.

COMMUNICATION DEVICE, ELECTRONIC TIMEPIECE, COMMUNICATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
20180267484 · 2018-09-20 · ·

The communication device includes a receiver, a counter, an operation member and a processor. The receiver receives an external time from an external device. The counter clocks time. The operation member receives a time correction operation to correct the time clocked by the counter. The processor corrects the time clocked by the counter to the received external time. The processor sets a frequency at which the time correction process is performed after the operation member receives the time correction operation, higher than a frequency at which the time correction process is performed before the operation member receives the time correction operation, until a predetermined time elapses. In the time correction process, when the difference between the time clocked by the counter and the external time received by the receiver is within a predetermined range, the processor corrects the time clocked by the counter to the external time.

Timepiece movement including an analogue display

The timepiece movement is provided with an analog display device for an item of information whose value varies periodically or intermittently, this analog display device including an indicator for said information provided with a toothing and a mechanism for the periodic or intermittent driving of the indicator, this mechanism comprising a rotating wheel set whose pinion, in a meshing relationship with the toothing, is formed of two pins which are diametrically opposite relative to the rotational axis of the rotating wheel set, these two pins being configured to alternately penetrate successive hollows in the toothing and to form a self-locking system when the timepiece movement is subjected to shocks. Each of the two pins has, in a general plane of the toothing perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the rotating wheel set, a transverse profile having a first outer portion substantially in the arc of a circle centered on the axis of rotation.

Electronic clock movement comprising an analog display of several items of information

An electronic clock mechanism includes an analog display device including a ring of dates and a stopwatch hand associated with a graduation of a small counter. The ring and hand are driven by a same electric motor via a permanent gear train, the hand being mounted on a wheel of the permanent gear train, the wheel arranged between a motor pinion and a movable element including a date driving wheel. The ring and date driving wheel respectively include two sets of teeth forming a permanent gear having a relatively large clearance to define a dead angle region for the date driving wheel as the ring is positioned by a jumper. The dead angle region is used to drive the stopwatch hand independently of the ring. The permanent gear train is arranged such that torque for positioning the rotor creates for the date driving wheel a blocking torque for shock-resistance.

An electronic timepiece includes a second hand, a dial having a display area provided with a plurality of markings corresponding to the second hand, and a display controller that controls driving operation of the second hand to cause the second hand to display calendar information. The display area, when viewed from a timepiece front side, is divided by two straight lines that pass through a rotating shaft of the second hand and are perpendicular to each other into four divided areas. Each of the divided areas is related to years elapsed since a leap year, and each of the markings is related to the month. The display controller, when causing the second hand to display the calendar information, causes the second hand to point at one of the markings in one of the four divided areas to display the elapsed years and the month.
