The control parameters include a plurality of bounds for an adjusted net power of the electrical system. The high speed controller sets an energy storage system command control variable (ESS command) based on a state of adjusted net power of the electrical system and the set of control parameters.

A method for setting the production schedule of a multiplicity of galvanized coils of metallic strip on a continuous galvanizing line is provided, the method including the steps of evaluating, for each possible combination of two uncoated coils, the impact of the transition from the first uncoated coil to the second uncoated coil on the quality of the galvanized coils, allocating to each possible combination of uncoated coils a weighting factor which depends on the results of the previous step and which takes into account the line constraints, computing the results of the previous step by calculating, for a number of possible schedules of the multiplicity of uncoated coils, a score which depends on the sum of the weighting factors attributed to the combinations of uncoated coils involved in the given schedule and by selecting the schedule with the optimal score.

A method for automating process development in a bioprocessing environment is provided. The method comprising: executing a first experiment run according to a set of parameters; retrieving a first real-time set of data of the experiment run while the experiment run is being executed; retrieving a second real-time set of data of an experiment run being executed in parallel, analysing the retrieved first real-time set of data and the second real-time set of data to determine an adjusted set of parameters; and, modifying, based on the analysis, the parameters upon which the experiment run is being executed during execution of the run such that the run continues to be executed according to the modified set of parameters. A system, computer program and computer readable medium are also provided.

Disclosed is a method for tuning stiffness of a servo system, including: reconstructing a characteristic signal of a servo system; calculating a vibration characteristic covariance coefficient of the servo system according to the characteristic signal; and tuning the stiffness of the servo system according to the calculated vibration characteristic covariance coefficient. By reconstructing the characteristic signal of the servo system, relationships between parameters of the system and the characteristic signal of the system are determined, and then, system stiffness tuning is carried out by calculating the vibration characteristic covariance coefficient of the system. In the process of tuning the stiffness of the servo system, a tuning judgment is made according to the system's own parameters without relying on a special locus, thus increasing the compatibility and intelligence degree of an algorithm.
