METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FORMULATING AN ENERGY-SAVING STRATEGY FOR SEMI-AUTOMATIC PRODUCTION LINE BASED ON MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL
An energy-saving strategy formulation method for a semi-automatic production line based on model predictive control is performed as follows. max-plus algebra model is constructed, based on which an optimization objective function with the WIP products as discrete elements and sleep start moment and sleep end moment of the automated device as control variables is established. A first unoptimized WIP product is substituted into the optimization objective function, and the optimization objective function is solved to obtain an optimal sequence, in which a first set of values is output as optimization result. Whether all WIP products have been optimized is determined, and if yes, an energy-saving strategy is generated and used to control the automated device, otherwise, the optimization result is treated as disturbance information to be incorporated into the modeling. An energy-saving strategy formulation system is also provided.
FUZZY ENERGY SAVING CONTROL METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SYSTEM BASED ON REAL-TIME PRODUCTION DATA
The present invention belongs to the field of energy-saving control of manufacturing system and specifically discloses a fuzzy energy saving control method for a manufacturing system based on real-time production data, comprising: (1) obtaining the amount of work-in-process (WIP) in an upstream buffer and the amount of WIP in a downstream buffer of a currently running machine as two input variables for fuzzy reasoning; (2) performing fuzzy reasoning with a fuzzy rule based on the amount of WIP in the upstream buffer and the amount of WIP in the downstream buffer to obtain a fuzzy output value; and (3) comparing the fuzzy output value with a predefined threshold to determine whether the fuzzy output value is less than the threshold or not, if yes, stopping the currently running machine, and if not, keeping the current state. In the present invention, the effective energy consumption control of the manufacturing system can be realized, and this method has the advantages of convenience in operation, high applicability and the like.
BUILDING DATA PLATFORM WITH DIGITAL TWIN ENRICHMENT
A building management system for a building including one or more storage devices storing instructions thereon that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to ingest event information from at least one of a building system or an external computing system, enrich the event information based on a digital twin associated with the event information, wherein enriching the event information includes adding contextual information to the event information based on the digital twin to generate enriched event information, generate a predicted parameter that will result from a control decision for operating at least one of the building system or a different building system based on the enriched event information, and modify the control decision based on the predicted parameter.
Building data graph including application programming interface calls
A building system of a building including one or more memory devices having instructions thereon, that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to receive a request to access a portion of a building graph of the building from a system, the building graph including a plurality of nodes and a plurality of edges, the plurality of nodes representing entities of the building and the plurality of edges representing relationships between the entities of the building. The instructions cause one or more processors to determine whether the system has access to the portion of the building graph based on a policy indicated by the plurality of nodes and edges of the building graph and provide the portion of the building graph to the system in response to a determination that the system has access to the portion of the building graph.
CONTROL SYSTEM IN AN INDUSTRIAL GAS PIPELINE NETWORK TO SATISFY ENERGY CONSUMPTION CONSTRAINTS AT PRODUCTION PLANTS
Controlling flow of gas in a gas pipeline network, wherein flow of gas within each of the pipeline segments is associated with a direction (positive or negative). Processors calculate minimum and maximum production rates (bounds) at the gas production plant to satisfy an energy consumption constraint over a period of time. The production rate bounds are used to calculate minimum and maximum signed flow rates (bounds) for each pipeline segment. A nonlinear pressure drop relationship is linearized to create a linear pressure drop model for each pipeline segment. A network flow solution is calculated, using the linear pressure drop model, comprising flow rates for each pipeline segment to satisfy demand constraints and pressures for each of a plurality of network nodes over the period of time to satisfy pressure constraints. The network flow solution is associated with control element setpoints used to control one or more control elements.

Some examples relate to optimizing energy efficiency associated with workspaces in a building. In one specific example, a system can execute a trained machine-learning model to generate a predicted activity pattern associated with a workspace in a building, the predicted activity pattern being a forecast of workspace activity associated with the workspace over a future time window. The system can, based on the predicted activity pattern, generate at least one control signal for at least one control system associated with the workspace. And the system can transmit the at least one control signal to the at least one control system, the at least one control system being configured to receive the at least one control signal and responsively adjust at least one environmental condition associated with the workspace from a first setting to a second setting.
