Method and system for remote machine control
A system and method for secure remote control of a machine includes transmitting video data from a camera on the machine to an operator controller located at a remote operation station, and receiving, at a machine controller of the machine, an operator control message from the operator controller. The operator control message is based on an input device actuated in response to the video data. The method further includes confirming validity of the operator control message based, at least in part, on the video data transmitted from the camera to the operator controller, and controlling the machine with the operator control message when validity of the operator control message is confirmed.

FLUID CONTROL VALVE DEVICE
A fluid control valve device includes a spool valve, a control valve, a control unit, and storage. The spool valve has an introduction port, a discharge port, and a supply port. The control unit controls the open or closed state of the control valve according to a command value. The storage stores past data on at least one of a control value by which the control unit controls the control valve, a value calculated by the control unit, and a detection value of a sensor. The control unit changes, according to the past data, the open or closed state of the control valve based on the command value.

EXTRACTING MAXIMAL FREQUENCY RESPONSE POTENTIAL IN CONTROLLABLE LOADS
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for extracting maximal frequency response potential in controllable loads. In one example, a method includes assigning a fitness metric to at least one electrical device coupled to a power grid, assigning a frequency threshold based on the fitness metric, and transmitting the assigned frequency threshold to the at least one electrical device. The fitness metric can be based at least in part on an availability component and a quality component associated with the at least one device and the frequency threshold can cause the at least one electrical device to activate autonomously based on a frequency of the power grid.
