DATA COLLECTION SYSTEM, PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to one embodiment, a data collection system includes an event data collector, a state machine generator, a state machine list, and a state machine driver. The event data collector collects sense signals respectively as a plurality of event data. The state machine generator generates a state machine as a model corresponding to the workpiece. One of the sense signals is acquired when the workpiece is fed into the processing system. The state machine generator generates the state machine and generates an ID for the state machine when the event data collector collects one of the plurality of event data corresponding to the one of the sense signals. The state machine driver drives the state machine retained in the state machine list by sending, to the state machine retained in the state machine list, an event corresponding to another one of the sense signals.
Systems and Apparatus for Distribution of batch and continuous Process Control Data to Remote Devices
A method of providing batch process data from a process control system of a process plant to a remote computing device includes receiving a request to create a list of batch data to be provided to the remote computing device, presenting a selection interface to facilitate selection of batch data to be provided, and receiving, via the selection interface, a selection of a batch executive from which to provide the batch process data. The method also includes receiving, via the selection interface, one or more filter criteria, applying the filter criteria to data available from the batch executive to determine a set of data to be included on the list of batch data to be provided to the remote computing device, and transmitting to a mobile server an indication of the set of data associated with the list of batch data to be provided to the mobile device.

Jog push button
Systems and methods are provided to facilitate correct execution of a machine jog operation where a plurality of interfaces can generate a machine jog command, which is received by an industrial controller. One or more machine jog commands can be received and state data is maintained regarding whether a machine jog command has been received. An OR gate logic operation is performed on the state data to determine whether a machine jog operation has been received from any of the plurality of interfaces, and in the event of receiving a machine jog operation, a control command is generated to effect a machine jog operation. The plurality of interfaces enable interaction with the controller, to facilitate control of a machine from a plurality of locations. The system can be expanded to include further interfaces. Also, information regarding a machine jog command can be published to the plurality of interfaces.

CIRCUIT ARCHITECTURE MAPPING SIGNALS TO FUNCTIONS FOR STATE MACHINE EXECUTION
An integrated circuit includes a memory configured to store a plurality of functions; a mapping interface configured to perform a mapping from a received first signal to a first function of the plurality of functions; and a state machine configured to, in response to said mapping, execute the first function; wherein the integrated circuit is arranged to, in dependence on the execution of the first function at the state machine, modify said mapping between the first signal and the first function so as to re-map the first signal to a second function of the plurality of functions such that, on receiving a subsequent first signal, the state machine is configured to execute the second function.

Optimal timer array
Methods and apparatuses for an optimal timer array using a single reference counter are presented. According to one aspect, timers of the timer array use the single reference counter to process different timed trigger requests. A count translation logic block translates counts corresponding to the requested timed triggers to target values of the reference counter. Register arrays that include the target values and active/inactive status flags of the timers are used to implement specific timers. Comparators are used to compare values of the reference counter to the target values to establish expiration of the requested timed triggers. A target translation logic block translates a current value of the reference counter to an offset value from the target values for monitoring by an external circuit.

CONTROLLER, CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A control unit included in a PLC generates power-cut retaining information to be retained at a power cut, and stores the generated power-cut retaining information into a main memory. The control unit includes a file system unit for reading and writing target information from and into a nonvolatile memory. When the file system unit receives a power cut notification indicating a cut of power fed while reading or writing target information from or into a nonvolatile memory, the file system unit stops the reading or writing process, and writes the power-cut retaining information stored in the main memory into the nonvolatile memory using power fed from the auxiliary power supply.
