Method for identifying actions of electric equipment and system using the same
A method for identifying actions of an electric equipment is provided. The method includes: measuring a utility power signal of the electric equipment during a period of time; analyzing a waveform characteristic of the utility power signal in the period of time to acquire a set of characteristic values, and identifying a current control procedure corresponding to the utility power signal from a set of control procedures according to the set of characteristic values, the current control procedure including one or more action stages whose first action stage corresponds to a first action parameter; determining whether a deviation between the waveform characteristic of the utility power signal corresponding to the first action stage and the first action parameter is within a tolerance range; triggering a warning event when the deviation between the waveform characteristic of the utility power signal and the first action parameter is outside the tolerance range.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
The purpose of the present invention is to enable even an unskilled person to easily identify a related event in a short time from a collected event log. A system management device (1) is provided with: a display control part (32) for causing a display part (14) to display an event log; an identification part (30) for identifying an event of interest log specified by a user through an operation part (11); and an extraction part (31) for extracting a related event log related to an event of interest from an event log database (20). The display control part (32) causes the display part (14) to display the event of interest log and the related event log.

WIRELESS SENSOR SYSTEM FOR HVAC SYSTEMS
A heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system. The system includes a housing with HVAC equipment. A sensor detects an operating condition of the HVAC system and wirelessly transmits a signal indicative of the operating condition. The sensor couples to or is disposed within the housing. A controller receives the signal indicative of the operating condition and controls operation of the HVAC system in response to the signal. The controller is coupled to or disposed within the housing.

DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A device includes a receiving unit, a filtering unit, an abnormality detecting unit, and an output unit. The receiving unit receives an I/O output request that includes an operational output for an I/O output device to operate a plant, and that is transmitted from plural control units through a network. The filtering unit performs filtering in which an I/O output request from a proper control unit out of the received I/O output requests is selected and output. The abnormality detecting unit detects an abnormality of the I/O output request. The output unit transmits, when the abnormality is detected, an alternate I/O output request, which is a request including an alternate operational output, to an I/O output device corresponding to the I/O output request, and that outputs, when the abnormality is not detected, the I/O output request output from the filtering unit to an I/O output device corresponding to the I/O output request.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CROWD-SOURCED ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM CONTROL AND MAINTENANCE
A system and method for crowd-sourced environmental system control and building maintenance includes a server for providing selective access to building occupants and managers. Users are permitted to generate building reports in the form of (i) thermal reports using a thermal report module, and/or (ii) maintenance reports using a maintenance report module. The reports are each geo-located to locations within the building, and are then captured, stored, and aggregated at the server. The aggregated reports are sorted according to their geo-locations and comfort rules are used to (i) permit a manager at a client computer to access the server to respond, and/or (ii) automatically respond and assign a response status to particular reports. An inspection checklist interface is generated and populated to display a list of preventative maintenance tasks, each of the tasks being user-selectable to designate completion, with the updated status of the reports being stored at the server.

Digital safety locks in industrial process plants
A digital safety lock of a field device or other process plant equipment activates in response to receiving a request from a locking party, thereby placing the device into a locked mode. While the device is in the locked mode, only the locking party may perform maintenance activities on, or otherwise functionally control, the device. While locked, the device may provide an indication of the locking party to any other device or application attempting to access or control the locked device. Other devices, applications, and users may communicate with the locking party or locking party device to request that the device be unlocked and/or to request the corresponding digital safety lock key. Upon the device receiving the correct digital safety lock key, the digital safety lock may be deactivated, and the device may enter into an unlocked state if no other digital safety locks remain activated for the device.
