PREDICTIVE FREE COOLING
An environmental control system for a building in a geographic location and having a heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system includes at least one computer-readable medium having instructions stored thereon that, when executed by at least one processing device in communication with the external application, enables the at least one processing device to receive weather data characterizing a weather forecast over a predetermined time period for the geographic location, receive free-cooling window data, determine, based on the weather data and free-cooling window data, an available free-cooling time window, and issue to the external application an executable command to the HVAC system to enter free-cooling mode during the available free-cooling time window.
MOTOR CONTROL APPARATUS CAPABLE OF PROTECTING PROCESS FACE AT THE TIME OF OCCURRENCE OF ABNORMAL LOAD
A motor control apparatus controlling a motor driving a machine tool includes, an abnormal load detecting unit that detects an abnormal load by monitoring a load of the motor, a retract amount storing unit that stores a plurality of retract amounts used when the machine tool performs a retract operation in response to detection of an abnormal load by the abnormal load detecting unit, a retract amount switching unit that switches a retract amount selected from the plurality of retract amounts in accordance with a result of determination of whether the machine tool is processing or not, and a retract amount adding unit that adds a retract amount selected by switching of the retract amount switching unit to an instruction value indicative of a movement amount of the machine tool.

USER CONTROL DEVICE AND MULTI-FUNCTION HOME CONTROL SYSTEM
A system for a plurality of thermostats each located in a different building in a neighborhood. Each thermostat includes a processing circuit configured to receive one or more assigned operating time slots from an analytics service and operate building equipment associated with the thermostat based on the one or more assigned operating time slots. The system further includes the analytics service. The analytics service includes a processing circuit configured to receive weather forecast data from a weather service and predict a period of time during which an energy usage peak will occur for the plurality of buildings based on the weather forecast data, determine the one or more operating time slots based on the period of time, assign the one or more operating time slots to each of the plurality of thermostats, and send the one or more assigned operating time slots to the plurality of thermostats.

ADAPTIVE LEVELING CONTROL SYSTEM
Industrial machines and methods of operating the same. One method includes receiving, with an electronic processor, a current value of a parameter of an industrial machine during operation of the industrial machine and comparing, with the electronic processor, the current value of the parameter to a stored value of the parameter to determine whether the industrial machine is unlevel. The method also includes, when the industrial machine is unlevel, autonomously, with the electronic processor, changing a position of at least one of a plurality of jacks to level the industrial machine, wherein autonomously changing the position of at least one of the plurality of jacks includes at least one selected from a group consisting of extending the at least one of the plurality of jacks and retracting the at least one of the plurality of jacks.

Method of Digital Labeling Control System Terminals That Enables Guided Wiring
Tools and techniques are described to create a controller wiring board. A user, using a user interface associated with a controller, can determine which devices will be attached to a controller. The features of the devices may be already known by the controller. The controller can change wiring terminal types depending on the requirements of the devices wired to the controllers. In some embodiments, a device is wired to a module associated with the controller. The controller can signal to the module to modify its wiring terminal to match the needs of the device to be wired to that location.
