System and method for surface steerable drilling using tactical tracking

An apparatus associated with a drilling rig includes a surface steerable system for controlling drilling direction of a bottom hole assembly (BHA). The surface steerable system is configured to receive drilling rig parameters from the BHA. A database stores historical data related to the drilling rig. The historical data relates to previously tracked operations of the drilling rig. The surface steerable system is further configured to perform a plurality of tracking functions with respect to the drilling rig parameters. The plurality of tracking functions cause the surface steerable system to track drilling rig parameters from sensors associated with the drilling rig, access the database of the historical data relating to previously tracked operations of the drilling rig and control operating functions of the drilling rig responsive to at least one of the drilling rig parameters from the sensors associated with the drilling rig and the historical data from the database.

Building system with a building graph

A building energy management includes building equipment, one or more data platform services, a timeseries database, and an energy management application. The building equipment operate to monitor and control a variable and provide raw data samples of a data point associated with the variable. The timeseries database stores a plurality of timeseries associated with the data point. The plurality of timeseries include a timeseries of the raw data samples and the one or more optimized data timeseries generated by the data platform services based on the raw data timeseries. The energy management application generates an ad hoc dashboard including a widget and associates the widget with the data point. The widget displays a graphical visualization of the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point and includes interactive user interface options for switching between the plurality of timeseries associated with the data point.

A foot presence sensor system for an active article of footwear can include a sensor housing configured to be disposed at or in an insole of the article, and a controller circuit, disposed within the sensor housing, configured to trigger one or more automated functions of the footwear based on a foot presence indication. In an example, the sensor system includes a capacitive or magnetic sensor configured to sense changes in a body's proximity to the sensor in footwear. Characteristics of the sensed proximity can be used to update an automated footwear function, such as an automatic lacing function, or can be used to determine a step count, foot strike force, a rate of travel, or other information about a foot or about the footwear.
