The processor may control the initiation of an appliance cleaning process. The appliance cleaning process may comprise receiving detection sensor data representative of a first time and a second time, generating an initial condition based on the received detection sensor data representative of the first time, and generating a new condition based on the received detection sensor data representative of the second time. The processor may be additionally configured to compare the initial condition and the new condition and determine if cleaning product is present.

A system for remote diagnostic analysis of a heating, ventilation and air condition (HVAC) system is provided. The system includes a thermostat in operable communication with at least one peripheral component of the HVAC system and configured to receive information relating to the at least one peripheral component, and a server in operable communication with the thermostat for receiving and analyzing the information. The server causes the at least one peripheral component to conduct a diagnostic test and analyzes the test result to perform a root cause analysis of a system malfunction.

A system for remote diagnostic analysis of a heating, ventilation and air condition (HVAC) system is provided. The system includes a thermostat in operable communication with at least one peripheral component of the HVAC system and configured to receive information relating to the at least one peripheral component, and a server in operable communication with the thermostat for receiving and analyzing the information. The server causes the at least one peripheral component to conduct a diagnostic test and analyzes the test result to perform a root cause analysis of a system malfunction.
Method of generating plant normal state prediction data and apparatus using the same
A data prediction method and apparatus generate plant normal state prediction data based on measurement data of multiple tags and a plant prediction model, to enhance accuracy of anomaly/fault prediction by providing precise prediction data in the normal state even in a plant anomaly/fault condition. The method includes generating primary prediction data by performing primary prediction based on the measurement data and the plant prediction model; selecting an anomalous state tag among the multiple tags, the selected anomalous state tag determined as data of an anomalous state based on measurement data corresponding to the primary prediction data; updating the plant prediction model by using the measurement data of only normal state tags; and generating secondary prediction data by performing secondary prediction based on the measurement data of the normal state tags and the updated plant prediction model. Secondary prediction is performed only when an anomalous state tag is selected.
Maintaining power grid stability using predicted data
Systems and methods are described herein for maintaining stability of a power grid by providing a continuous power system data stream. Power system data including one or more data packets is monitored to identify reliability of data transmission. A predicted data packet is continually generated, characterizing predicted power system data of the power grid based on filtering of the one or more past and most recent non-missing and reliable data packets. A substitution factor of the one or more data packets is determined. The predicted data packet is selectively substituted in place of the one or more data packets based on the substitution factor.
Maintaining power grid stability using predicted data
Systems and methods are described herein for maintaining stability of a power grid by providing a continuous power system data stream. Power system data including one or more data packets is monitored to identify reliability of data transmission. A predicted data packet is continually generated, characterizing predicted power system data of the power grid based on filtering of the one or more past and most recent non-missing and reliable data packets. A substitution factor of the one or more data packets is determined. The predicted data packet is selectively substituted in place of the one or more data packets based on the substitution factor.

Methods, systems, and apparatus for receiving a command for controlling a robot, the command referencing an object, receiving sensor data for a portion of an environment of the robot, identifying, from the sensor data, a gesture of a human that indicates a spatial region located outside of the portion of the environment described by the sensor data, searching map data for the object, determining, based at least on searching the map data for the object referenced in the command, that the object referenced in the command is present in the spatial region, and in response to determining that the object referenced in the command is present in the spatial region, controlling the robot to perform an action with respect to the object referenced in the command.

A factory management system has a database for managing a factory in which a production line is provided. The factory management system includes a communication unit, a collection and storage unit and a compilation and display unit. The communication unit connects production facilities of the production line with host systems such that the production facilities and the host systems communicate with each other. The collection and storage unit is one of the host systems and collects production status data on a production status from the production facilities via the communication unit and stores the production status data in the database. The compilation and display unit is provided separately from the collection and storage unit via a communication interface. The compilation and display unit compiles a predetermined data out of the production status data stored in the database and display the first predetermined data.
