DRIVE SYSTEM
To provide a drive system provided with a plurality of control units configured to control electric motors, in which a wiring line is further simplified, the wiring line allowing a signal related to stopping of the electric motor to be input to the drive system. The drive system includes a plurality of control units each controlling a corresponding electric motor according to a command supplied from a host device via a first wiring line, a management unit including an input port that receives input of a first signal related to stopping of the electric motor, and a second wiring line that connects the management unit to the plurality of control units and is different from the first wiring line. The management unit distributes the first signal input to the input port to each of the plurality of control units via the second wiring line.
METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND APPARATUS FOR ANALYSING A PROGRAMMABLE LOGIC CONTROLLER PROGRAM
It is disclosed a PLC Program analysis method where a program (PROG) is translated (TRANS) into a model (MOD) in a logical framework, from which properties (Prop) are determined. Said properties coupled with user specifications (IntProp) are verified by an automated solver (SMT). If contraposition of a property (Prop) is satisfiable, counter-examples (PROOF NOK) representative of model inputs and internal memory values is provided. Counter-examples (PROOF NOK) are translated into error initial configurations (IniConf) of said model. Execution of the model is simulated (EXE) with said model error initial configurations (IniConf), and error intermediary configurations (AST-IntConf) of said model simulation are recorded up to said property violation. Error initial and intermediary configurations (Lad-IniConf, Lad-IntConf) of said original program (PROG) are derived from error initial configurations (IniConf) of said model and error intermediary configurations (AST-IntConf) of said model simulation and displayed. An apparatus for executing said method is provided.
Method for controlling a PLC using a PC program
The present disclosure relates to a method for controlling a PLC using a PC program, wherein a source code of a PLC program includes a data section, the data section including data indicating services to be exposed by the PLC when running the PLC program, wherein a source code of the PC program is automatically generated using the data included in the data section and a PC program template, wherein the PLC is controlled using the PC program generated from the automatically generated source code of the PC program.
CONTROL SYSTEM, SUPPORT DEVICE, AND SUPPORT PROGRAM
A control system includes a control device, an information processing device, a grouper, and a generator. The control device executes a control program controlling a control target while managing process data of the control program. The control device transmits one or more types of data sets storing a part of the process data according to a communication setting. The information processing device executes one or more applications using the process data by using the one or more types of data sets. The grouper allocates the process data designated to be used in the one or more applications to one or more groups. The generator generates the communication setting for the control device such that the process data allocated to the group are stored in one data set and transmitted for each of the groups grouped by the grouper according to an allocation result.
CONTROL SYSTEM, RELAY DEVICE, AND RELAY PROGRAM
A control system includes a controller, a transmission unit, an application executing unit, and a management unit. The controller executes a control program controlling a control target, and manages pieces of process data referred to or updated in the control program. The transmission unit transmits data sets including values of the pieces of process data managed by the controller, each of the data sets including one or more process data values. The application execution unit executes one or more applications using the value of the process data included in the data set transmitted by the transmission unit. The management unit determines a data set validating transmission in the data sets transmittable by the transmission unit according to the application executed by the application execution unit.

Intelligent binding and selection of hardware via automation control objects
The present disclosure is directed to systems, methods and devices for facilitating object-based industrial automation control. An automation control library comprised of a plurality of objects may be maintained in association with one or more industrial automation applications. Code defining the execution of an industrial automation process may be received. A plurality of objects in the object library for implementing the industrial automation control process may be identified. The plurality of identified objects may be matched to one or more hardware components based on one or more operational requirements included in the code, and available hardware resources for performing the automation control process.

ENGINEERING BASED DIGITAL TWIN PLATFORM
Disclosed is a method to create a digital twin which is a copy of a machine or a production system in a computer environment and usage of the created digital twin in the computer-based calculation. Digital twins which are developed by the method are created by physical laws/equations rather than solely by sensor data. Developed digital twins could be created/served with API's by dividing thereof into small pieces and could be resold through a market place in form of an application.
Industrial control system having multi-layered control logic execution
A process control system includes a process controller level including at least one process controller, and an input/output (I/O) module level including at least one I/O module. The process controller level and the I/O module level are communicatively coupled. and each include control logic comprising control hardware or algorithm blocks. The control logic in the process controller level and the I/O module level are configured to execute and exchange data to perform process control for a process run by the process control system in a distributed fashion across the process controller level and the I/O module level.
