Well Construction Management and Decision Support System
A method for wellbore construction management includes measuring at least one drilling operating parameter during drilling of a wellbore. At least one well state parameter is calculated from the measured drilling operating parameter. A difference between the calculated well state parameter and a predetermined value of the well state parameter is determined. When the difference exceeds a selected threshold a modified well plan is calculated comprising at least one drilling task to enable construction of at least part of the wellbore to conform to the modified well plan. The at least one drilling task is displayed to a user.

PROGRAM COMPARISON APPARATUS, PROGRAM COMPARISON METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A program comparison apparatus includes: a set alignment unit that divides a comparison source-program which is a first FBD program into sets of program components connected to one another, and rearranges the sets in a line along a Y-axis direction which is a vertical direction in ascending order of execution, and also divides a comparison edited-program which is a second FBD program into sets of program components connected to one another, and rearranges the sets in a line along the Y-axis direction in ascending order of execution; a difference detection unit that detects a difference in the sets between the comparison source-program and the comparison edited-program rearranged as difference information; and a difference display control unit that causes the sets of the comparison source-program and the comparison edited-program that are rearranged to be displayed within a screen of a display device.
PREDICTION CONTROL DEVELOPMENT DEVICE, PREDICTION CONTROL DEVELOPMENT METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A prediction control development device according to one aspect of the present invention generates a prediction model of a control amount by analyzing first time-series data of the control amount and provides the generated prediction model to a controller. The prediction control development device acquires second time-series data showing transition of a value of the control amount during prediction control using the prediction model, and evaluates prediction accuracy of the prediction model based on a difference between a prediction value by the prediction model and a value of the second time-series data. When the prediction accuracy of the prediction model is not allowable, the prediction control development device analyzes the second time-series data to newly generate a prediction model of the control amount, and provides the newly generated prediction model to the controller.

GRAPH DISPLAY DEVICE, GRAPH DISPLAY METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A graph display device according to one aspect of the present invention generates a first directed graph, which contains a plurality of first nodes respectively representing device variables, edges representing the existence of a dependency relation, and a block representing a function, and a second directed graph, which contains a plurality of first nodes, edges, a block, and a plurality of second nodes arranged in the block and respectively representing function parameters. In response to an instruction from a user the display device switches between displaying the generated first directed graph and displaying the generated second directed graph.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SANITIZING PUBLICLY ACCESSIBLE USER INTERFACES
Exemplary embodiments of a system and method for automatically disinfecting publicly accessible user interfaces are disclosed. Certain embodiments are configured such that a user of a publicly accessible user interface, such as a fuel pump nozzle or an ATM keypad, actuates a shield or application housing in order to access the user interface. When the user completes use of the interface, the application housing is returned to its original state that covers the user interface. At such time, UVC light emitting diode arrays within the housing are energized in order to apply ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (“UVGI”). Consequently, any pathogen left on the user interface by the user will be remediated, making the user interface safe for use by a subsequent user.

PROCESS MONITORING DEVICE, PROCESS MONITORING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A process monitoring device includes a data collector, a statistic calculator and a comprehensive statistic calculator. The data collector acquires two or more variables indicating a state of a monitored target. The statistic calculator output each of the statistics that select two from the acquired variables. The comprehensive statistic calculator output a comprehensive statistic indicating a state of the monitored target based on a statistic output by the statistic calculator.
System and method for fail-safe provision of an analog output value
A method for fail-safe provision of an analog output value for a control process designed for functional safety, wherein the output value is specified by a control unit as a digital output value and, in a first step, the digital output value is converted into the analog output value via a converter, in a second step, the analog output value is converted into a fail-safe digital output value using fail-safe criteria via a read-back device and, in a third step, the originally provided digital output value is compared with the converted fail-safe digital output value, where in the event of the comparison revealing a deviation or of a plausibility criterion being infringed, a safety action is performed, otherwise, the analog output value is output to the control process with the aid of a release device.
