The method includes the steps of obtaining information related to at least a first identification marker; decoding the at least first cutting tool identification marker to determine at least first cutting tool identification data; obtaining information related to at least a first carrier identification marker of at least a first carrier in the manufacturing process; decoding the at least first carrier identification marker to determine at least first carrier identification data; and generating a first association data indicative of the at least first cutting tool identification data and the at least first carrier identification data.

Systems and methods for printing and verifying product codes using ultraviolet (UV) fluorescing ink include, in at least one aspect, a system including: a UV light source configured and arranged to illuminate, with UV light, product codes printed on products; a camera configured and arranged to capture visible light emitted by a single ink of the product codes responsive to the illumination with the UV light, where the single ink includes a combination of a non-fluorescing substance and a UV fluorescing substance; and a controller coupled with the camera and configured to perform machine vision processing on the captured visible light to identify and confirm the product codes printed on the products.

A system and method for crowd-sourced environmental system control and building maintenance includes a server for providing selective access to building occupants and managers. Users are permitted to generate building reports in the form of (i) thermal reports using a thermal report module, and/or (ii) maintenance reports using a maintenance report module. The reports are each geo-located to locations within the building, and are then captured, stored, and aggregated at the server. The aggregated reports are sorted according to their geo-locations and comfort rules are used to (i) permit a manager at a client computer to access the server to respond, and/or (ii) automatically respond and assign a response status to particular reports. An inspection checklist interface is generated and populated to display a list of preventative maintenance tasks, each of the tasks being user-selectable to designate completion, with the updated status of the reports being stored at the server.

A vehicle body tracking system of a vehicle assembly line provided at a conveyor unit for transferring a vehicle body may include: a mounting frame to be installed at a power rail of the conveyor unit; a pair of rotating bodies installed at the mounting frame; a driven chain to be combined to the pair of rotating bodies and combined with a drive chain that travels along the power rail; and an encoder sensor installed at the mounting frame and connected to at least one rotating body of the rotating bodies. In particular, the driven chain travels on an endless track, and the encoder sensor detects a rotation amount of the at least one rotating body to output the detected rotation amount to a controller.
