The invention relates to an installation method for setting up a control unit in a conveying device, wherein a first control unit controls an upstream first conveyor segment and a second control unit controls a downstream second conveyor segment. The method according to the invention comprises the steps of: placing an object on a first conveyor segment; activating a learning mode in a first and second control unit; activating a first and second conveyor drive by means of the respective first and second control unit; automatically conveying the object in the direction of the second conveyor segment; and storing an installation parameter in the second control unit depending on the triggering of the first or second sensor signal.
Robotic system and method with position detection for transferring vehicle component
A robot transferring system of a component and a transferring method thereof are provided. The robot transferring system of a component includes a hanger in which components including at least one of a cowl plate, a roof rail, and a package tray are disposed. A first sensor detects a reference position of the components disposed in the hanger to detect a shape of the component and a first loading robot capture each component based on a predetermined position determined by the sensor. A first loading jig is disposed at a location in which one of the components captured by the loading robot is disposed and a setting robot transfers the components disposed in the loading jig to a vehicle body to dispose the component to a predetermined position of the vehicle body.
System and method for producing products based upon demand
A system and method for producing products based upon demand are disclosed. In some cases, the products include containers and the contents therein. The containers are disposed on vehicles and are independently routable along a track system and are deliverable to at least one unit operation station. A control system: receives demand for finished products; determines a route for vehicles based upon the status of one or more unit operation stations; and causes a vehicle to progress along a determined route to create one or more of the demanded finished products. The system may be used to produce the same fluent products, different fluent products, and other types of products including assembled products.

This disclosure relates to a high volume manufacturing system for processing and measuring workpieces in a semiconductor processing sequence without leaving the system's controlled environment (e.g., sub-atmospheric pressure). The systems process chambers are connected to each other via transfer chambers used to move the workpieces, in the controlled environment, between the process chambers. The transfer chambers include a measurement region with dedicated workpiece support chucks capable of translating and/or rotating the workpiece during the measurement.
Transport refrigeration system controller to engine control unit interface
Embodiments of a TRS Controller to ECU interface are provided. The interface includes a TRS Controller connected to an ECU that is part of an engine. The interface includes a keyswitch connection that is configured to send a keyswitch message from the TRS Controller to the ECU, a run signal connection that is configured to send a run message from the TRS Controller to the ECU, and a CAN communication connection that is configured to provide two-way communication between the TRS Controller and the ECU.

At least one method, apparatus and system disclosed herein involves receiving a reticle and automatically providing the reticle to a semiconductor wafer processing tool. An apparatus of some embodiments herein include a reticle carrier comprising a first slot for receiving the first cassette having loaded within, a first reticle; an identifier detector capable of detecting an identifier associated with the first reticle; an automated handling device capable of automatically receiving the reticle carrier and automatically moving the reticle carrier to a predetermined location; and a reticle handling device capable of extracting the first reticle from the reticle carrier and providing the first reticle to a processing tool.
Method for replacing a control unit in a conveying device
A method is disclosed for replacing a defective control unit in a conveying device interconnected by a bus. Conveying devices are used in logistics processes for fully automated and semi-automated conveying of goods by means of conveyor segments. These conveyor segments are controlled and monitored by control units. In order to minimize the downtime of the conveyor device, the described method for replacing a defective control unit in a conveying device interconnected by a bus can be used to ensure that a control unit can be replaced promptly and reliably. The method according to the invention allows automatic detection of a defect in a control unit, as well as initial configuration of a replacement control unit with an individual bus address or additional parameters.

A method and device for treating containers with at least two container treatment machines, between which a transport device for transporting the containers is arranged, where the transport device is divided into several transport sections, where the flow of containers is changed from containers of type A to containers of type B, where a separating device is activated once the first transport section has run empty of containers of type A, where containers of the type B are transported into the first transport section and backed up at the separating device, while containers of type A are transported from the second transport section to the second container treatment machine, and where the separating device is deactivated once the second transport section has run empty of containers of the type A, so that the containers of type B are transported through the second transport section to the second container treatment machine.
