A bumpless transfer fault tolerant control method for aero-engine under actuator fault is disclosed. For an aero-engine actuator fault, by adopting an undesired oscillation problem produced by an active fault tolerant control method based on a virtual actuator, in order to solve the shortage of the existing control method, a bumpless transfer active fault tolerant control design method for the aero-engine actuator fault is provided, which can guarantee that a control system of the reconfigured aero-engine not only has the same state and output as an original fault-free system without changing the structure and parameters of a controller, to achieve a desired control objective, and that a reconfigured system has a smooth transient state, that is, output parameters such as rotational speed, temperature and pressure do not produce the undesired transient characteristics such as overshoot or oscillation.

Identification of structural parts in error handling of medical devices
11031125 · 2021-06-08 · ·

In a method, a database system, a computer, and a medical system for the identification of faulty structural parts to be exchanged of a medical device, an identification algorithm is executed to calculate and emit an exchange data record that identifies a structural part to be exchanged, dependent on for a read-in error message from the medical device. The identification algorithm accesses a database system with a simulation model in which automatically generated error patterns (are stored in order to perform an analysis on these stored error patterns, so as to calculate the exchange data record. An error pattern is an association between the error message, an exchange data record, and an evaluation data record.

Interactive petrochemical plant diagnostic system and method for chemical process model analysis

A petrochemical plant or refinery may include equipment such as pumps, compressors, valves, exchangers, columns, adsorbers, or the like. Some petrochemical plants or refineries may include one or more sensors configured to collect operation information of the equipment in the plant or refinery. A faulty condition of a process of the petrochemical plant may be diagnosed based on the operation of the plant equipment. A diagnostic system, which may receive operation information from the one or more sensors, may include a detection platform, an analysis platform, a visualization platform, and/or an alert platform.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATED HVAC TESTING
20210131686 · 2021-05-06 · ·

The invention involves the automated testing of HVAC units using an energy management system. The automated HVAC test is performed to understand if one or more HVAC units are operational across one or more locations. If an HVAC unit is not operational, HVAC testing could be performed to understand which component or stage of the HVAC unit is not working as designed. The automated HVAC test is also used to calculate the efficiency of the HVAC unit(s) being tested. The various HVAC tests are performed on all HVAC units as a form of preventative maintenance and diagnostics. These tests can be scheduled on-demand, for a future date and time, or on a recurring schedule (monthly or quarterly). A report is generated for each HVAC test and can be viewed and exported from a cloud-based energy management platform.
