A knitted foot garment includes upper, heel, toe, and sole knitted fabric portions integrally woven together to define a chamber. A plurality of encapsulated polymer pads are attached to and protrude from an outer surface of either the heel, toe or sole portions. The polymer pads contain gas bubbles to provide increased cushioning to the sole of the foot garment.
