Skin elasticity measurement
A method of measuring a characteristic of a skin, including varying an air pressure in a chamber positioned adjacent to a skin, in which the chamber has an opening that exposes the skin to changes in the air pressure in the chamber. A plurality of measurements of surface profiles of the skin are made over a period of time as the surface profile of the skin varies in response to changes in the air pressure.

A biomarker diagnostic system includes a sensor to collect a sweat sample from a biological subject; a processor operatively connected to the sensor, wherein the processor is configured to perform metabolic and proteomic profiling of biomarkers in the sweat sample. The metabolic and proteomic profile is compared to a predetermined profile of the biomarkers and to determine a physiological status of the biomarkers. The system further includes a feedback unit operatively coupled to the sensor and the processor and configured to output physiological performance data based on the physiological status.
NON-INVASIVE DETECTION OF ANOMALOUS PHYSIOLOGIC EVENTS INDICATIVE OF HYPOVOLEMIC SHOCK OF A SUBJECT
An apparatus comprises at least one processing device comprising a processor coupled to a memory. The at least one processing device is configured to obtain physiologic data from sensors associated with a wearable device of a subject, the sensors being attached to skin of the subject over vascular structures of the subject. The at least one processing device is also configured to determine differences between measured physiologic metrics in the obtained physiologic data and baseline physiologic metrics, and to detect anomalous physiologic events indicative of hypovolemic shock of the subject based at least in part on the determined differences between the measured physiologic metrics and the baseline physiologic metrics. The at least one processing device is further configured to generate notifications responsive to detecting the anomalous physiologic event indicative of hypovolemic shock of the subject, and to deliver the notifications in accordance with notification settings associated with the subject.
WAISTBAND MONITORING ANALYSIS FOR A USER
Methods, apparatuses, and computer readable mediums for waistband monitoring analysis for a user are provided. In a particular embodiment, a waistband monitoring device is configured to generate a motion pattern based on motion data from a motion sensor coupled to the waistband monitoring device; receive physiological data generated by a physiological sensor coupled to the waistband monitoring device, wherein the physiological data indicates at least one vital sign of the user; identify an activity of the user that corresponds to the motion data and the physiological data; and generate an analysis of the user's performance of the identified activity based on the motion data and the physiological data.
MEDICAL IMAGING DEVICE FOR SPATIALLY RESOLVED RECORDING OF MULTISPECTRAL VIDEO DATA
A medical imaging device configured to spatially resolve recording of multispectral video data of an examination area of a patient including a light source having multiple optical emitters with different wavelengths in the visible and NIR spectral range. The light source has an emitter whose wavelength lies in the range of ±50% of its half-width around the intersection of the blue and green filter curves or the green and red filter curves, and the exposure control and the data processing means are arranged to separately detect the affected two of the red and green or the green and blue colour signals in an exposure pattern with activation of the emitter at the intersection point and to evaluate them in the multispectral analysis with mutually different wavelengths shifted by the two affected filter curves as two supporting point wavelengths.
Ostomy monitoring system and method
