Screening belt unit for a harvesting machine, and corresponding flap unit

A screening belt unit is provided for a harvesting machine or harvested material transportation device and for screening extraneous material out of a mixture of harvested material and extraneous material. A screening belt has at least two endless carriers, preferably in the form of carrier belts or chains, between which screening bars are arranged in a direction transversely to the conveying direction. The screening bars form a plurality of screening bar units that comprise in each case at least two screening bars. At least a part of the screening bars is fixed so as to be movable relative to the endless carriers. The screening belt unit has a positioning means arranged at least locally along the screening belt and acts on the movable screening bars and via which, in the screening zone S as seen in the screening direction, a spacing A in the conveying direction F of successive screening bars is defined. Furthermore, a flap unit, a screening belt and a harvesting machine or a harvested material transportation device are provided.

The present invention relates to a rod belt for rod belt conveyors of agricultural machines comprising rods (5) arranged transverse to the direction of transport and parallel to each other, the rods (5) comprising flattened and perforated attachment areas (5.1) by means of which they lie in contact with elastic belts (2) of high tensile strength revolving parallel to each other and being connected to the belts (2) via rivets or similar attachment means penetrating the attachment area (5.1) and the belt (2), both ends (9) of which belt constituting a joint (8). It is the object of the invention to provide a rod belt of this type having an endless connection of high stability while, at the same time, being easy to disassemble and mount. This task is solved according to the invention in that an auxiliary belt section (7) each is arranged laterally adjacent to the belts (2), the auxiliary belt section bridges the joint (8) between the belt ends (9) whereby the belts (2) and the auxiliary belt sections (7) are interlocked by means of the rods (5).

A rod belt for agricultural machines includes at least three belts, fasteners, and rods. The at least three belts are pull-resistant, elastic, and continuous, and run parallel to one another. The at least three belts each extend in a direction of movement. The fasteners are connected to the belts. The rods are arranged perpendicular to the direction of movement and are parallel to one another.

Root crop harvesting machine

A root crop harvesting machine has a crop lifting device that has associated therewith downstream in the conveying direction an ascending first sorting stretch with substantially unchangeable working width. The crop is conveyed across a cleaning stretch to a collecting bunker, wherein a conveying run movable along the ascending sorting stretch is guided to a top drop zone where the conveyed material is transferred onto a downstream conveying stretch. The conveying run in the area of an upper unloading end interacts with at least one deflection conveying unit receiving the conveyed crop stream. This upper deflection conveying unit is provided with at least one separating device that, in working position, is moveable into a position of lateral projecting width so as to project at least on one side past the receiving width of the machine; from this position, it is returnable into a travel position for road travel.
