Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for computing weights for source code alerts. One of the methods includes generating a respective sample of alerts for each feature of a plurality of features. One or more feature values are computed for alerts having a same respective attribute value for each feature of a plurality of features. An importance distribution that maps each feature value to a respective measure of importance for an alert having the feature value is used to compute a respective feature score for the feature using one or more feature values computed the alert. A respective weight is computed for each alert by combining the plurality of feature scores computed for the alert.

A method for the safe visualization of a safety-relevant information includes the steps of: for all possible states of at least one variable input parameter, decomposing a safe visualization of the at least one variable input parameter into its safe base elements (31); for each of the decomposed safe base elements, enumerating and storing a set of all possible states of safe base element visualization (32); and for each of the decomposed safe base elements, transmitting the set of all possible states of safe base element visualization to a target system that provides safe visualization at runtime (33).

A programmable display device connectable to a programmable logic controller in a communicable manner includes a sightline estimate unit, which estimates a direction of a sightline using image data obtained by capturing an image of a person, a display control unit, which displays a screen including an object on a display, a measurement unit, which measures a time period for which the sightline is directed to the object when the sightline is determined to be directed to the object through the estimation, and a storage unit, which stores image identification information identifying the object and time information indicating the measured time period in association with each other. The control unit displays the schematic illustration and the causal relationship model on the display unit such that the causal relationship model is superimposed on the schematic illustration so as to correspond to the schematic illustration.
