Identifying management zones in agricultural fields and generating planting plans for the zones

In an embodiment, yield data representing yields of crops that have been harvested from an agricultural field and field characteristics data representing characteristics of the agricultural field is received and used to determine a plurality of management zone delineation options. Each option, of the plurality of management zone delineation options, comprises zone layout data for an option. The plurality of management zone delineation options is determined by: determining a plurality of count values for a management class count; generating, for each count value, a management delineation option by clustering the yield data from and the field characteristics data, assigning zones to clusters, and including the zones in a management zone delineation option. One or more options from the plurality of management zone delineation options are selected and used to determine one or more planting plans. A graphical representation of the options and the planting plans is displayed for a user.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A HYBRID AIR/LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM OF A BUILDING

A device may monitor an intake temperature of an air flow through an air intake of a building that includes a ventilation system for temperature control of a first region of the building, a liquid cooling system for temperature control of equipment that is within a second region of the building, and a heat exchanger that is thermally coupled to the ventilation system and the liquid cooling system. The device may determine that the intake temperature is below a threshold temperature. The device may control the ventilation system to cause the air flow to cool a water flow of the liquid cooling system via the heat exchanger to produce a cooled water flow. The device may control the liquid cooling system to cause the cooled water flow of the liquid cooling system to bypass a chiller system of the liquid cooling system to reduce power consumption by the chiller system.

An adapter for connecting an embedded system to a control computer having a standard interface, in particular a network interface, a first subcircuit, and a second subcircuit, the first subcircuit being designed to communicate with the control computer via the standard interface by means of a standard protocol, preferably XCP. The first subcircuit is designed to convert a protocol functionality requested in the standard protocol via the standard interface, out of a set of supported protocol functionalities into the call for one or more elementary functions out of a defined overall set of elementary functions. The first subcircuit is connected to the second subcircuit via an internal interface, wherein the second subcircuit has a programmable computing module which is configured to provide at least one elementary function out of the overall set of elementary functions which can be called up via the internal interface by means of a call.

Dynamic artificial intelligence appliance
11402807 · 2022-08-02 ·

A control apparatus providing a Dynamic Artificial Intelligence system, which employs data sets and software functions representing a plurality interactive software engine's, including Inference, Neural Net, State, and Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) Engines. These engines are implemented as a set of scheduled realtime monitors and callable functions with associated processes preformed within a system. Monitors dynamically estimates and determine the optimal control policy for the system and its sub-systems. Monitors utilize an iterative process of sub-steps “function calls’, until a convergence states exist. Functions and subfunctions dynamically estimate the desired value for operation at a respective state of the environment over a series of predicted environmental states; using a complex return of data sets to determine bounds to improve the estimated currently desired value; and producing updated estimates of optimal control policies. DAI further interacts in realtime with external events to modify control policies.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOTE FIELD PROGRAMMABLE GATE ARRAY PROCESSING

In one embodiment, an apparatus comprises a fabric controller of a first computing node. The fabric controller is to receive, from a second computing node via a network fabric that couples the first computing node to the second computing node, a request to execute a kernel on a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) of the first computing node; instruct the FPGA to execute the kernel; and send a result of the execution of the kernel to the second computing node via the network fabric.
