LOCATION PAD FOR NEUROSURGICAL PROCEDURES
A location pad includes multiple field-generators and a frame. The multiple field-generators are configured to generate respective magnetic fields in a region-of-interest of a patient organ, so as to measure a position of a medical instrument in the region-of-interest. The frame is transparent to an X-ray radiation, and is configured to fix the multiple field-generators at respective positions surrounding the region-of-interest.
COUCH AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING DEVICE
A couch according to an embodiment is a couch for a magnetic resonance imaging device, and includes a transformable couchtop, a movable couchtop, and processing circuitry. The transformable couchtop is configured to be at least partially transformable and to support a subject. The movable couchtop is configured to cause the transformable couchtop to move into a gantry of the magnetic resonance imaging device. The processing circuitry is configured to control transformation of the transformable couchtop. The processing circuitry is configured to acquire information regarding a receiver coil used in imaging of the subject, and to control the transformation of the transformable couchtop based on the information regarding the receiver coil.
CT IMAGING APPARATUS
A dental or medical CT imaging apparatus including a first longitudinally extending frame part. A support, construction extends substantially perpendicularly from the longitudinally extending frame part. An X-ray source and an image detector which together form an X-ray imaging assembly are mounted to the support construction. A first driving mechanism is provided to move the X-ray imaging assembly about a virtual or physical rotation axis. A control system having at least one operation mode that simultaneously controls the first driving mechanism and the X-ray imaging assembly is provided. The support construction includes at least one guiding mechanism configured to enable laterally moving at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector in relation to the support construction. A range of the lateral movement of at least one of the X-ray source and the image detector includes a base position and a first and a second extreme position.
Table system for medical imaging
A table system for use with an imaging device includes a base portion that supports the table system over a support surface, a patient support including a platform for supporting a patient in a standing position and a bed for supporting the patient in a lying position, a linkage portion coupled between the base portion and the patient support that is pivotable with respect to both the base portion and the patient support, a first drive mechanism that drives the pivoting of the patient support with respect to the linkage portion, and a second drive mechanism that drives the pivoting of the linkage portion with respect to the base portion, the first and second drive mechanisms moving the patient support between a vertical position in which the platform is substantially parallel to the support surface and a horizontal position in which the bed is substantially parallel to the support surface.
