The toe portion and the heel portion are aligned along a longitudinal direction. At said opening the middle portion ends with a right side edge and a left side edge. The garment is seamlessly knitted as a whole. At least one or both the right and left side edges comprise at least one elastic portion made up by a plurality of stretch stitches located at an end of knitted courses. The stretch stitches are composed of at least one main thread of the foot-covering garment knitted with at least one elastic thread. The elastic thread extends with no interruption in said at least one elastic portion, in that it is not cut at each knitted course of said at least one elastic portion.
Shoe with detachable sock
A footwear combination that includes a base shoe that may be combined with plural different fitted socks to accommodate plural outfits, depending upon the fitted sock that is combined with the shoe. The fitted socks are detachable from the shoe (e.g., for washing and change of outfitting). Points of attachment between the sock and shoe extend down to the region of the metatarso-phalangeal joints. This allows the dorsal portion of the foot to remain bare and will allow fashionable women's footwear to be at once comfortable and trendy.

Foot loop
The disclosed technology relates to the ornamental and utilitarian features of a device configured to protect the Metatarsal-Phalanges Joints (MPJ) zone of the user's foot when wearing shoes such as dress shoes. The device defines a loop placed around the MPJ zone wherein such loop can be neutral or natural in color to minimize its impact on the style of the shoe or flashy or have its own design that can add strappiness or laciness or contrasting color. The loop forms a protective layer between the problem areas (e.g. side and top around the MPJ zone) of the foot and the shoe material.

Easy don and doff sock
Aspects herein are directed to a sock having an integrally knit tab positioned between a collar of the sock and a heel of the sock, where the collar defines an opening for a wearer's foot. The tab may comprise a loop with an opening being open in a medial-to-lateral direction. The base of the tab is integrally knit with a reciprocally knit section to reinforce the structural integrity of the tab, which may be used to assist the wearer in donning and/or doffing the sock by acting as the primary structure by which the wearer pulls the sock around the wearer's foot when donning the sock. The heel portion may have first and second integrally knit sections comprising partial-length courses.

Socks for receiving orthotic insoles
The socks for receiving orthotic insoles are footwear adapted for holding orthotic insoles in environments where the wearer cannot wear shoes, such as in yoga studios, places of worship, and the like. Each sock includes a tubular body having a top side, a bottom side, a closed end and an open end. A pair of straps may be secured to the tubular body, and the pair of straps are sized, positioned and configured for wrapping around the wearer's ankle. At least one layer of frictionally engaging material is secured to the bottom side of the tubular body for frictionally engaging with the floor or a similar support surface. The interior of the tubular body is adapted for receiving an orthotic insole.
SPORTS SOCKS
The present invention relates to a sports sock. The sports sock includes a sock main body and an anti-slip portion disposed on the exterior side of the sock main body. The anti-slip portion includes first anti-slip portions disposed on the exterior side of a region covering the thenar, the hypothenar, and a portion therebetween on a sole of a forefoot of the sock main body. The first anti-slip portion includes a plurality of first inner anti-slip portions arranged in a radial fan-shaped manner such that the longitudinal direction extends inward from a starting point in a region covering the second metatarsal bone, the third metatarsal bone, and the fourth metatarsal bone, and a plurality of first outer anti-slip portions arranged in a radial fan-shaped manner such that the longitudinal direction extends outward from the starting point.
