Maternity garments are presented herein. The maternity garments are intended for use by pregnant women throughout the entirety of their pregnancy. In one exemplary arrangement, the maternity garments include a built-in support belt and a belly bump portion. The maternity garment may further include leggings. In some arrangements, the maternity garment is formed of light compression weaves in areas such as the baby bump area and the leggings area of the garment, while the areas around the periphery of the baby bump, as well as the back area of the garment are formed of slightly stronger compression weave so as to provide needed support and lift in these areas. Finally, the area associated with the middle of the back of the pregnant woman may be formed of an even stronger compression weave so as to provide even greater support in this area to deal with the troublesome soreness and pain often had by pregnant woman as the pregnancy progresses.

A stocking includes a stocking body having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the stocking body defines an opening at the proximal end. The stocking body defines a longitudinal axis. The stocking body also defines an anterior portion and a posterior portion. A first layer of sleeves is disposed on an exterior of the stocking body and includes a first sleeve coupled with the anterior portion and a second sleeve coupled with the posterior portion. A second layer of sleeves is disposed on an exterior of the stocking body and includes a third sleeve coupled with the anterior portion and a fourth sleeve coupled with the posterior portion. The present disclosure relates to a dynamic sock, pantyhose, athletic pants/leggings or similar clothing, designed to increase propulsion or restrict motion in human gait as would be advantageous in athletic, lifestyle, medical or similar applications. Similarly, the described invention would be advantageous in sedentary applications to restrict joint angle for various pathologies. The exemplary sock includes an integrated propulsion/tension band with increased elastic/compression/tension capability at specific parts of the foot, ankle and lower leg to increase the tension at the dorsiflexion, midstance or plantarflexion phase of the gait cycle or restrict joint excursion in medical applications to thereby increase the rate, amount and force of plantarflexion or dorsiflexion or restrict motion in the sagittal, transverse or horizontal planes.

The invention provides a form-fitting garment configured to enhance the buttocks of the wearer. A garment of the invention includes a pair of buttock overlay portions sized and positioned to overlay the buttocks of the wearer and a pair of buttock support bands disposed beneath the buttock overlay portions sized and positioned to overlay a portion of a wearer's body beneath each buttock so as to apply compression to the portion of the wearer's body beneath each buttock. The buttock overlay portions and buttock support bands cooperate to provide support and/or add lift and/or curve to the buttocks of the wearer.

A lower torso garment, such as a brief, includes a body having a pair of leg openings, a crotch portion between the leg openings, and a waist opening, and a waist band connected to the body and positioned at the waist opening. The waist band includes an elastomeric band affixed between overlapping plies of fabric, and the elastomeric band includes a thermoplastic elastomer film. The elastomeric band is positioned between the overlapping plies of fabric.

A lower torso garment, such as a brief, includes a body having a pair of leg openings, a crotch portion between the leg openings, and a waist opening, and a waist band connected to the body and positioned at the waist opening. The waist band includes an elastomeric band affixed between overlapping plies of fabric, and the elastomeric band includes a thermoplastic elastomer film. The elastomeric band is positioned between the overlapping plies of fabric.

A pair of tights specially designed for the wearer to self-adjust the waist for fit, adjust compression, adjust for waist training, adjust lower abdominal support, and adjust lower lumbar back support. The localized compression effect is configured and adjusted by a textile piece attached at the left side area of the back waistband that can cross the front of the abdomen to the left and a textile piece attached at the right-side area of the back waistband that can cross the front of the abdomen to the right. The two textile pieces that cross the body are anchored from the opposite side areas of the waistband creating a compression and opposite horizontal pull across the back and can be adjusted to attach across the front of the body. The configuration of the waistband and adjustable textile pieces allows a wearer to self-adjust the fit.

A garment portion comprises a flexible resilient belly panel portion adapted to substantially conform to and cover a wearer's belly. The belly panel portion extends from an upper edge portion below the wearer's breast area and over the wearer's abdomen to a lower edge portion below the wearer's waist. A waistband is selectively connected with the lower edge portion of the belly panel. The belly panel portion is removably attached to the waistband.
