Method and data presenting device for assisting a remote user to provide instructions
A method, data presenting device and computer program product are provided for assisting a remote user. The data presenting device includes a communication interface, a camera having a field of view in which images are captured, a projector having a presentation area in which presentation items may be presented, and a control unit which receives field of view control commands a command to project a presentation item in the presentation area, controls the field of view of the camera and controls the projector to project the presentation item in the presentation area, wherein the control of the projection in the presentation area is made independently of the control of the field of view.
HIERARCHICAL DATA BINDING FOR INDUSTRIAL CONTROL SYSTEMS
A system provides a design interface for designing and implementing graphical user interfaces that users can access through web browsers. Depending on the configuration of the graphical user interfaces, the users may be able to monitor and control industrial processes by interacting with components that correspond to the industrial processes as displayed in user interfaces at client devices. The design interface includes functionality for selecting preprogrammed components, or for generating new components for display. The design interface further allows designers to associate data values received from a variety of sources with properties of the components in the user interfaces. In particular, properties associated with a component of an interface are stored in property tree structures, making dynamic changes to the components possible. Data bindings between subtrees representing components and sets of data from industrial and other sources allows for designs that scale with the availability of the data.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR DIAGNOSTICS OF AIRCRAFT AND OTHER MOBILE PLATFORMS
Methods and apparatus disclosed herein may facilitate the evaluation of time-correlated operational data associated with a mobile platform more effectively by presenting the relevant data in ways that are relatively straightforward to interpret and more favorable to the identification of potential root causes. In some aspects, the methods and apparatus disclosed herein may facilitate the evaluation of multiple systems simultaneously at different points in time to study the initiation and evolution of one or more faults across one or more systems. In various embodiments, the methods and apparatus disclosed herein make use of graphic user interfaces containing synchronized elements such as two-dimensional plots, fault timelines, alert timelines and status information to facilitate diagnostics of mobile platforms.
System, method, and software for predicting the likelihood of selling automotive commodities
Provided are computer-implemented techniques for determining a probability of selling an (F&I) automotive commodity associated with a vehicle of interest to a consumer. Individual consumer data about the consumer interested in acquiring a vehicle is retrieved using an electronic interview. Dealer management system (DMS) data is retrieved and includes transactional data relating to automotive commodities. Group consumer data is retrieved about other consumers who have previously purchased the vehicle of interest, vehicles similar to the vehicle of interest, or automotive commodities associated with the vehicle of interest. Consumer resource data is retrieved from an online consumer resource. Deal data indicative of transactional terms is retrieved. The techniques predicatively analyze the retrieved data and compute a probability of selling at least one of the automotive commodities to the consumer based on predictive analysis. The techniques generate a displayable visual indicator that relates to the computed probability.
USER INTERFACE COMPONENT FOR MANAGING AND PRESENTING DATA CORRESPONDING TO INDUSTRIAL ASSETS
In example embodiments, a method of presenting time series data in a user interface is disclosed. A time series data component is embedded in a user interface of an application executing on a device. Time series data corresponding to an asset in an industrial internet of things (IIoT) is presented by the time series data component based on a context of a user of the device. Customizations pertaining to the presenting of the time series data are received. The customizations include annotations relating to the time series data. A snapshot of the time series data and the customizations is shared. Upon an accessing of the shared snapshot from an additional time series data component, the snapshot is presented by the additional time series data component based on a combination the context of the user of the device and a context of a user of an additional device.
Data modeling studio
A data modeling studio provides a structured environment for graphically creating and executing models which may be configured for diagnosis, prognosis, analysis, identifying relationships, etc., within a process plant. The data modeling studio includes a configuration engine for generating user interface elements to facilitate graphical construction of a model and a runtime engine for executing data models in, for example, an offline or an on-line environment. The configuration engine includes an interface routine that generates user interface elements, a plurality of templates stored in memory that serve as the building blocks of the model and a model compiler that converts the graphical model into a data format executable by the run-time engine. The run time engine executes the model to produce the desired output and may include a retrieval routine for retrieving data corresponding to the templates from memory and a modeling routine for executing the executable model.
Generic user interface system
A generic user interface for rapid application development on a stand-alone control platform. A user interface may be designed using generic menu methodology consisting of predefined tables, fonts, and templates, such that table entries and menu selections are made based on the platform. An example platform may be designed from function blocks from a function block engine. An application may be developed to run on the control platform (within the constraints of the hardware and function block engine), and a corresponding user interface may be automatically generated by populating the generic tables of the user interface methodology based on simple user input during placement of the function blocks, as an example.
Method and configuration environment for supporting the configuration of an interface between simulation hardware and an external device
A method for supporting a configuration of an interface is provided, wherein the configuration environment has an overview region that has several subregions. At least one item of information concerning a part of the configuration is displayed in each subregion. For each subregion, an item of information concerning the part of the configuration associated with the subregion is displayed. In the case of a warning and/or error message, a configuration option is displayed so as to be selectable, via which the warning/error message is resolved. The selection of the displayed configuration option causes a functionality to be started via which the displayed configuration option is made possible. In the case of a change in the status of a subregion, the display of the status and/or warning and/or error message and a configuration option derived therefrom in one subregion or several subregions is automatically updated and adapted to the changed status.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR MACHINE TOOL
In order to make it possible for an operator of a machine tool to easily calculate machining conditions and prevent calculation errors and input errors by the operator, this control device for a machine tool, which machines a work piece on the basis of a machining program, is provided with: a database that stores calculation formulas corresponding to types of calculation, and types of parameters required to execute said calculation formulas; an input unit that selects a type of calculation; and a display unit that displays, on the basis of the type of calculation selected by the input unit, the parameter to be input.
