APPARATUS AND METHOD OF MONITORING PRODUCT PLACEMENT WITHIN A SHOPPING FACILITY
Methods and apparatuses are provided for use in monitoring product placement within a shopping facility. Some embodiments provide an apparatus configured to determine product placement conditions within a shopping facility, comprising: a transceiver configured to wirelessly receive communications; a product monitoring control circuit coupled with the transceiver; a memory coupled with the control circuit and storing computer instructions that when executed by the control circuit cause the control circuit to: obtain a composite three-dimensional (3D) scan mapping corresponding to at least a select area of the shopping facility and based on a series of 3D scan data; evaluate the 3D scan mapping to identify multiple product depth distances; and identify, from the evaluation of the 3D scan mapping, when one or more of the multiple product depth distances is greater than a predefined depth distance threshold from the reference offset distance of the product support structure.
IT ORGANIZATION FOR CUSTOM HAIR DYE DISPENSING SYSTEM
A system is provided for dispensing a hair dye formulation into container, comprising: a conveyer belt configured to transport the customer container along a fill line; a plurality of dispensing mechanisms, each connected to a respective bulk containers having a different bulk hair dye color, the plurality of dispensing mechanisms being disposed over a conveyer belt along the fill line; and circuitry configured to receive a plurality of formulas for filling a respective plurality of receiving containers with one or more bulk hair dye colors from among the plurality of bulk containers having the different bulk hair dye color, and control each of the plurality of dispensing mechanisms to perform a dispensing operation to dispense an amount of bulk hair dye color or to not perform a dispensing operation at a time when each of the receiving containers are transported to each of the plurality of dispensing mechanisms along the fill line, wherein the circuitry is configured to adjust a sequence of the receiving containers to be filled in the fill line based on the formulas and a sequence which results in a minimum time to complete filling the receiving containers in the fill line.
FLEET FUEL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A fleet fueling system may be implemented with controllers electronically interfacing with fuel dispensers at dispensing stations and communicating via a wide area network with one or more computing device implementing multiple subsystems. Hardware components and subsystems may be configured to avoid operating errors and provide end-to-end functionality, including one or more of: avoiding damage to movable readers that can collect information about assets positioned at fuel dispensing stations, selectively authorizing fuel to be dispensed based on the types and amount of fuel those assets are authorized to receive, quickly and reliably entering information about assets, providing analytics relating to fuel usage per asset, predicting future fuel needs at each of multiple fuel dispensing sites and scheduling fuel deliveries based on predicted needs, and detecting or correcting operating errors in the system.
SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING ITEM AVAILABILITY IN A SHOPPING SPACE
Systems, apparatuses, and methods for determining item availability are provided. A computer implemented method for determining item availability in a shopping space comprising: receiving a request for an item for purchase from a customer, querying an inventory database to determine whether the item for purchase is in stock, in an event that the item for purchase is not in stock according to the inventory database: determining an out of stock response to present to the customer, in an event that the item for purchase is in stock according the inventory database: instructing a motorized transport unit to travel to a display space in the shopping space corresponding to the item for the purchase, determining whether the item is available in the display space based on information captured by one or more sensors of the motorized transport unit, and in an event that the item for purchase is not available in the display space: determining an item unavailable response to present to the customer.
Distributed Autonomous Robot Interfacing Systems and Methods
Described in detail herein is an automated fulfilment system including a computing system programmed to receive requests from disparate sources for physical objects disposed at one or more locations in a facility. The computing system can combine the requests, and group the physical objects in the requests based on object types or expected object locations. Autonomous robot devices can receive instructions from the computing system to retrieve a group of the physical objects and deposit the physical objects in storage containers.
SHOPPING FACILITY ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS, DEVICES AND METHODS
Apparatuses, components and methods are provided herein useful to provide assistance to customers and/or workers in a shopping facility. In some embodiments, a shopping facility personal assistance system comprises: a plurality of motorized transport units located in and configured to move through a shopping facility space; a plurality of user interface units, each corresponding to a respective motorized transport unit during use of the respective motorized transport unit; and a central computer system having a network interface such that the central computer system wirelessly communicates with one or both of the plurality of motorized transport units and the plurality of user interface units, wherein the central computer system is configured to control movement of the plurality of motorized transport units through the shopping facility space based at least on inputs from the plurality of user interface units.
