X-RAY MAMMOGRAPHY WITH TOMOSYNTHESIS
A method and system for producing tomosynthetic images of a patient's breast. An x-ray source that delivers x-rays through a breast immobilized and compressed between a compression paddle and a breast platform and form an image at a digital x-ray receptor panel. Multiple x-ray images are taken as the x-ray source and the receptor move relative to the immobilized breast. In one preferred embodiment, the x-ray source travels from −15° to +15°. The source can travel in an arc around the breast while the receptor travels linearly while remaining parallel and at the same distance from the breast platform. The sets of x-ray image data taken at different angles are combined to form tomosynthetic images that can be viewed in different formats, alone or as an adjunct to conventional mammograms.
METHOD OF HUB COMMUNICATION, PROCESSING, STORAGE AND DISPLAY
Disclosed is a surgical system that includes a first modular device and aa surgical hub, including a control circuit configured to receive first perioperative data from a second modular device; anonymize the first perioperative data; receives second perioperative data from a third modular device; anonymize the second perioperative data; and adjust at least one setting of the first modular device based on contextual information derived from the anonymized first and second perioperative data.
X-ray imaging apparatus
An X-ray imaging apparatus includes a moving unit for changing an irradiation position which is a position of a subject to be irradiated with X-rays by moving at least one of an imaging unit for emitting X-rays to a subject and a top board, and a control unit for performing control for displaying on a first display unit a two-dimensional virtual plane image which is a two-dimensional image in which an image indicating the skin dose for each of a plurality of irradiation positions and a scale image indicating at least one of the distance and the angle with respect to a reference position are superimposed on a virtual plane.
TARGET SITE SELECTION, ENTRY AND UPDATE WITH AUTOMATIC REMOTE IMAGE ANNOTATION
Fluoroscopic imaging of a patient's heart is performed by positioning a patient in a sterile field and imaging the heart using a x-ray fluoroscopy system within the sterile to produce a two-dimensional image. The two-dimensional image is simultaneously displayed on an operative display within or adjacent the sterile filed and on a display of a remote image processor outside the operative field. The two-dimensional image of the remote display is manually marked or annotated to show anatomical or treatment information which is simultaneously shown on the operative display.

PATIENT VIEWING SYSTEM
A method of viewing a patient including inserting a catheter is described for health procedure navigation. A CT scan is carried out on a body part of a patient. Raw data from the CT scan is processed to create three-dimensional image data, storing the image data in the data store. Projectors receive generated light in a pattern representative of the image data and waveguides guide the light to a retina of an eye of a viewer while light from an external surface of the body transmits to the retina of the eye so that the viewer sees the external surface of the body augmented with the processed data rendering of the body part.
Mammography examinations
The invention relates to an arrangement in connection with a mammography apparatus, in the invention, a screen or a user interface with a screen is attached to the mammography apparatus, which attachment is realized such that the screen or the user interface with a screen is aligned or can be aligned at least partly towards a lower tray structure of the mammography apparatus. Such screen or a user interface with a screen can be arranged in a functional connection with an information system and patient images recorded earlier in the information system can be displayed on the screen or the user interface with a screen.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR A FIELD-OF-VIEW PREVIEW
Various methods and systems are provided for a set of devices for an imaging system. In one example, the set of devices includes a first device configured to obtain a first set of image data and a second device configured to obtain a second set of image data along at least one dimension. The first and second sets of data may be compiled to generate a field-of-view (FOV) preview.
Radiography system and method for operating radiography system
A composite image generation unit of a CPU of a console combines a camera image obtained by capturing an image of a subject located in an irradiation field using a camera and a positioning index image indicating a set position of the subject, which has been set in advance with respect to an in-image cassette position that is the position of the electronic cassette in the camera image, to generate a composite image. In a case in which the in-image cassette position is changed with the movement of the electronic cassette, the composite image generation unit changes a display position of the positioning index image with the change in the in-image cassette position.
Operating apparatus and operating method for operating a medical device
An operating apparatus for a medical device and a corresponding operating method are provided. The operating apparatus includes a projector that is configured for real, virtual, or real and virtual projection of an operator surface onto a display element, and a capture facility for non-contact capturing of an interaction of an operator with the projected operator surface. A sensor system for independent detection of the interaction is arranged separately from the capture facility on the display element.
