Devices and methods are described for a minimally invasive procedure offering immediate relief of brain compression and prevention of subdural hematoma re-accumulation. For example, this disclosure describes devices and methods for embolization of bleeding branch vessels of the middle meningeal artery and subdural hematoma drainage in a single endovascular intervention using multimodal catheter-based technology.
X-ray diagnosis apparatus and console
An X-ray diagnosis apparatus includes an X-ray limiter having four diaphragm blades and a console on which four physical operating units that correspond to the four diaphragm blades are placed at four positions. When viewed from the side of the operator of the console, the four operating units are placed on the far side, the near side, the left side, and the right side. The far-side operating unit, the near-side operating unit, the left-side operating unit, and the right-side operating unit correspond to the upper diaphragm blade, the lower diaphragm blade, the left-side diaphragm blade, and the right-side diaphragm blade, respectively, with reference to an X-ray image displayed in a display.
Systems and methods for taking X-ray images
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for taking X-ray images. The method may include obtaining reference data associated with an object, the reference data including at least one of height data or historical data. The method may also include determining at least one of a start point or an end point of an imaging region associated with the object based on the reference data. The method may further include causing to take an X-ray image of the imaging region based on at least one of the start point or the end point.
Automatic gating with an MR linac
Systems and methods are provided for registering images. The systems and methods perform operations comprising: receiving, at a first time point in a given radiation session, a first imaging slice corresponding to a first plane; encoding the first imaging slice to a lower dimensional representation; applying a trained machine learning model to the encoded first imaging slice to estimate an encoded version of a second imaging slice corresponding to a second plane at the first time point to provide a pair of imaging slices for the first time point; simultaneously spatially registering the pair of imaging slices to a volumetric image, received prior to the given radiation session, comprising a time-varying object to calculate displacement of the object; and generating an updated therapy protocol to control delivery of a therapy beam based on the calculated displacement of the object.
RADIOLOGICAL IMAGING DEVICE WITH IMPROVED FUNCTIONING
A radiological imaging device that includes a source that emits radiation that passes through at least part of a patient, the radiation defining a central axis of propagation; and a receiving device that receives the radiation and is arranged on the opposite side of the patient with respect to the source. The receiving device includes a first detector to detect radiation when performing at least one of tomography and fluoroscopy, a second detector to detect radiation when performing at least one of radiography and tomography; and a movement apparatus arranged to displace the first and second detectors with respect to the source. The movement apparatus provides a first active configuration in which the radiation hits the first detector and a second active configuration in which the radiation hits the second detector.
Method and Apparatus for Calculating Blood Flow Rate in Coronary Artery, and Electronic Device
A method and apparatus for calculating the blood flow rate in a coronary artery, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method for calculating the blood flow rate in a coronary artery comprises the following steps: S1, acquiring an angiography image of the coronary artery, segmenting the angiography image of the coronary artery by using deep learning, and obtaining segmented images of a main vessel (S1); S2, calculating the length of the main vessel in each segmented image frame on the basis of the segmented images of the main vessel (S2); and S3, obtaining the blood flow rate in the main vessel on the basis of the calculated change of the lengths of the main vessel with time (S3). By using the method and apparatus for calculating the blood flow rate in a coronary artery and the electronic device, the automation of the calculation of the blood flow rate in a coronary artery is achieved, the calculated blood flow rate in the coronary artery is more accurate, and the calculation method is simple.
AN IMAGE ANALYSIS DEVICE, A CONTROL METHOD FOR AN IMAGE ANALYSIS DEVICE, AN IMAGE ANALYSIS SYSTEM, AND A CONTROL METHOD FOR AN IMAGE ANALYSIS SYSTEM
An image analysis device is capable of outputting evaluation information for use in the balloon catheter treatment for subjects, in real time during a procedure using a balloon catheter. The image analysis device includes: an input unit configured to input captured image data of a two-dimensional captured image of a balloon catheter inserted into an organ of the subject and pressed against an inner surface of the organ; a processing unit configured to obtain evaluation image data of the two-dimensional evaluation image, by executing an image processing on the captured image based on the captured image data input by the input unit, and configured to obtain evaluation information regarding a state of the balloon catheter pressed against the inner surface of the organ based on the evaluation image data; and an output unit configured to output the evaluation information acquired by the processing unit.
SURGICAL GUIDE AND METHOD OF USE
A surgical guide and methods of using the surgical guide are disclosed. The surgical guide includes a body having a first side and a second side. An adhesive material is disposed over at least a portion of the first side. A radiopaque guide element coupled to a second side of the body and an incision guard defines an opening extending from the first side to the second side of the body. The incision guard is sized and configured to receive a surgical instrument therethrough such that the incision guard prevents contact between the surgical instrument and a portion of a surgical site adjacent to the opening.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING CALIBRATION IMAGES FOR COUCH POSITION CALIBRATION
