Storage for real time process

An automated event viewing method for storing data for a process automation system. The method includes assigning a plurality of collected process data values from a physical process to a stream, and writing the stream on non-transitory machine readable storage to obtain a stored data stream having an original sampling rate.

ACTIVITY RECORDER, ACTIVITY RECORDING PROGRAM, AND ACTIVITY RECORDING METHOD

This activity recorder for recording, as activity data, an activity of a worker, includes: a first specification unit for specifying the worker; a second specification unit for specifying a position of the worker; a third specification unit for specifying a target of the worker; a fourth specification unit for specifying a mode of the worker; and a recording unit for recording, as the activity data, the worker, the position, the target, and the mode, with a specified time as an activity time associated therewith, the worker, the position, the target, and the mode having been respectively specified by the first specification unit, the second specification unit, the third specification unit, and the fourth specification unit.

Extended reality playback of events for manufacturing, installation, operation, maintenance and repair of infrastructure equipment

System and methods for monitoring and control infrastructure equipment uses extended reality playback to monitor such infrastructure equipment. The system and method advantageously blends videos and images of physical equipment with computer-generated representations of events to enable playback of the events, including any user interactions with the equipment. The extended reality playback presents events captured by real-time event logs for the infrastructure equipment using extended reality media content. The playback is composed of a real-time sequence of media content depicting one or more equipment operations corresponding to the events as a continuous presentation. The real-time sequence can then be displayed in real time and stored for subsequent playback at any time by a user. The real-time sequence can also be compared to a verified golden sequence to detect errors in the infrastructure equipment.

SUPERVISOR HISTORY SERVICE IMPORT MANAGER
20170082990 · 2017-03-23 ·

A system and approach of importing data from site controllers as history imports with a history service by a supervisor in conjunction with a host processor. The history service may reconfigure the history imports to provide the history service virtually full control over the history imports. The history service may runs a history import cycle to ensure that virtually all enabled history imports are performed. The history service may establish a list of history imports to be processed at a beginning of the history import cycle. The history import cycle may query virtually all history imports in an order on a last success time of a history import operation where an oldest time is first on the list. The history service may ensure a maximum number of history imports are running by querying for a count of history imports of an in progress state.
