Control method, controller, and recording medium
A first device is installed at a first location in a first space visible to a user. A second device is installed at a second location in a second space not visible to the user. A control method acquires line-of-sight information indicating a line-of-sight direction of the user from a camera. The line-of-sight direction of the user is determined based on the line-of-sight information. In a case where the line-of-sight direction indicates a third location other than the first location, a second dictionary corresponding to the second device is acquired from a plurality of dictionaries including a first dictionary corresponding to the first device and the second dictionary. Sound data indicating speech of the user is acquired from a microphone, a control command corresponding to the sound data is generated using the second dictionary, and the control command is transmitted to the second device.
AUGMENTED REALITY USER INTERFACE ON MOBILE DEVICE FOR PRESENTATION OF INFORMATION RELATED TO INDUSTRIAL PROCESS, CONTROL AND AUTOMATION SYSTEM, OR OTHER SYSTEM
A method includes identifying one or more first devices contained in at least one image captured by a mobile device. The method also includes obtaining data associated with at least one of: the one or more first devices and one or more second devices connected to or interacting with the one or more first devices. The method further includes presenting information overlaid over the at least one image by the mobile device to a user, where the presented information includes the data or information based on the data. The presented information varies based on perceived distance or proximity of the mobile device to the one or more first devices.
Image measurement device
There are included a probe that can be arranged in an imaging field of view, a horizontal drive section for causing the probe to contact a side surface of a workpiece on a stage, a display section for displaying a model image, a contact position designation section for receiving designation of contact target position information in the model image, a characteristic amount information setting section for setting characteristic amount information, a measurement setting information storage section for storing a plurality of pieces of contact target position information and the characteristic amount information, and a measurement control section for identifying a position and an attitude of the workpiece from a workpiece image by using the characteristic amount information, for identifying a plurality of contact target positions on the side surface of the workpiece where the probe should contact, based on the identified position and the identified attitude of the workpiece.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AN OPEN CONTAINER
Examples provide a system for monitoring an open container. A set of sensors captures sensor data associated with one or more items within an open container, such as, but not limited to, a food warmer or a refrigerated/freezer display case. The set of sensors may include one or more infrared (IR) cameras. The set of sensors transmits the sensor data to a monitoring component. The monitoring component processes the sensor data to identify factor(s) associated with one or more items, such as temperature, location of the item, state changes, and freshness of the one or more items. If a factor for a given item exceeds a predetermined threshold value for that factor, the monitoring system outputs an alert notification to a user interface.
OPERATING STATE ACQUISITION APPARATUS, PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, AND PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING LINE
An operating state acquisition apparatus 20a includes a detector 21a retrofitted to be mounted on a production equipment 31 disposed on a manufacturing line L1, or retrofitted to be disposed in a vicinity of the production equipment 31, the detector outputting a detection signal indicating an operating state of the production equipment. The operating state acquisition apparatus 20a includes a transmitter 21a configured to transmit a detection signal to a management apparatus 10.
System and Method for Determining the Status of a Component of an Installation
Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a system for monitoring states ZSTAT_i of a number NSIG1 of state signal transmitters ZSIG_1 with i=1, . . . , NSIG of one or more components in surroundings of an installation, a respective state signal transmitter ZSIG_i configured to transmit a signal S_i that unambiguously represents its current state ZSTAT_i. An example system includes: a recording subsystem comprises a number NERF1 of recording units KAM_k with k=1, . . . , NKAM, a respective recording unit KAM_k configured to record the transmitted signals S_i; and an analysis subsystem configured to automatically use the signals S_i thus captured to derive current states ZSTAT_i of the respective state signal transmitters ZSIG_i.
Camera audit accepter mechanism and camera audit dispensing mechanism
A system for receiving and auditing objects according to an embodiment of the invention includes a housing having a front panel, a receiving area, an auditing area, and a drop chute, wherein the receiving area includes a shelf, the front panel includes an opening, a door assembly having a pushing wall and a second pushing wall and assembly moveable between an open position in which an object can be inserted through the opening and into the receiving area, and a closed position in which the door assembly prevents access to the receiving area, wherein the pushing wall moves the object from the shelf into the auditing area as the door assembly closed; and a control system coupled to a camera and switch, wherein the door assembly activates the switch when it is in the closed position, the control system images the object with the camera in response to switch activation.
Systems and methods for personnel location at a drilling site
Systems and methods for determining the location of personnel on a drilling site. A computer vision system can automatically identify and determine the locations of personnel on a drilling site, can generate a confidence map of the locations, and can display the locations of the personnel on a map of the drilling site. The system and methods also include taking corrective action when a person's location is determined to be unsafe, such as by inhibiting or causing automated actions with respect to machinery and equipment at the drilling site. The systems and methods may include the use of multiple cameras or video sources located at the drilling site and may be coupled to a control system to control machinery or equipment at the drilling site.
PRODUCTION SYSTEM FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF A PRODUCT
A production system (10) for manufacturing a product (20), in particular a biological-pharmaceutical product, which comprises multiple processing units (30, 50, 702, 704) for accommodating and/or treating an educt (40), and/or to a method for this purpose.
