METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR INFANT POSITIONING FOR REDUCTION OF SUDDEN INFANT DEATH AND PLAGIOCEPHALY
A garment includes a body. Right and left sleeves are coupled to the body. The right sleeve and the left sleeve each include a first fastener that is operable to secure the right sleeve and the left sleeve to the body, respectively. Right and left legs are coupled to the body. The right leg and the left leg each include a second fastener that is operable to secure the right leg to the left leg. Third fasteners are arranged on a back portion of the body.
Swaddling blanket and pouch combination
A swaddling blanket and pouch combination (SBPC) (10) that allows an infant to be comfortably and easily swaddled. The blanket (12) is comprised of a right blanket flap (28) and a left blanket flap (46) and includes a designated area to which is removably attached the pouch (70). The pouch features a lower end (78) which includes an opening and closing means that allows an infant's soiled diaper to be easily removed and replaced or to take a rectal temperature. The SBPC (10) is used by first placing the left blanket flap (46) over the pouch (70), which is then followed by placing the right blanket flap (28) over the pouch. The right and left blanket flaps (28,46) as well as the pouch (70) are preferably held in place by hook and loop fasteners (88).
Blanket with tuck flaps
A Blanket with tuck flaps with a sheet of flexible material, a hood member, a left tuck flap member, a right tuck flap member, a shoulder support member, and an arm support member. The planar sheet is wide enough to cover the front surface of an average person. The left and right side tuck flaps extend from the right side and left side of the sheet at the thigh level of the user. The shoulder support member is attached to the top of the planar sheet and supports the blanket on the user's shoulders. The hood is attached to the top side of the planar panel. The user's head protrudes through an aperture between the top of the planar panel and the shoulder support member. The arm support is attached at its top and bottom edge to the inside of the planar sheet at the location of the user's torso.
CLAVICLE FRACTURE INFANT BRACE
The present disclosure describes an infant brace for treating an infant with a fractured clavicle. The infant brace includes a torso portion for receiving the donning infant's torso, and an arm portion for receiving the donning infant's arm on the side coinciding with the fractured clavicle. The infant brace is formed from an elastic netting material. The infant brace provides effective immobilization of the infant's affected upper arm while minimizing risks of over-heating or causing pressure sores.
Multipurpose positioning device for infants
A multipurpose infant positioning device that includes a lower pad with front and back surfaces, wings attached to lateral sides of the lower pad and a bottom flap attached to the bottom portion of the lower pad. At least one of the wings and bottom flap have fastening segments attached thereto for adjustably attaching these components to portions of the lower pad. The fastened wing and bottom flap are made of a material having sufficient resiliency to maintain and bring an infant back to flexed midline position within the infant positioning device. These infant positioning devices may further include a headpiece, brim, pocket at the back surface of the lower pad and a detachable readjustable multipurpose pillow for positioning the infant from and between supine, prone and side-lying positions, all while maintaining and reinforcing the flexed midline position of the infant for normal development.

An removable upper pocket can be attached to the body and positioned adjacent a chest of a user after the lower pocket is secured to the user. A liner made of warming fabric can be added to or removed from the both the upper and/or lower pocket to regulate comfort.
