Ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and method of controlling ultrasound diagnostic apparatus
An ultrasound diagnostic apparatus (1), which performs a compression test with respect to at least two points of a popliteal vein and a common femoral vein of a subject, includes an ultrasound probe (15), an image acquisition unit (8) that acquires an ultrasound image by transmitting an ultrasound beam toward the subject from the ultrasound probe (15), a vein detection unit (9) that detects the popliteal vein included in the ultrasound image, and an operation guiding unit (10) that guides a user, in a case where the compression test of the popliteal vein is performed, to operate the ultrasound probe such that the ultrasound probe (15) is positioned at a position in which only one popliteal vein is included in the ultrasound image based on the number of the popliteal veins detected by the vein detection unit (9).
MEDICAL APPARATUS AND IMAGE GENERATION METHOD
A medical apparatus including an ultrasonic information acquisition unit that acquires ultrasonic information of inside of a living body obtained from an ultrasonic probe that has an ultrasonic sensor and emits ultrasonic waves inside the living body, a device magnetic field information acquisition unit that acquires device magnetic field information relating to a magnetic field generated from a medical device inserted in a blood vessel inside the living body, an echo image generation unit that generates an ultrasonic echo image of the blood vessel from the ultrasonic information, and a device position image generation unit that generates a device position image indicating the position of the medical device inside the blood vessel, based on the ultrasonic echo image and the device magnetic field information.
ULTRASONIC DIAGNOSTIC DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An ultrasonic diagnostic device includes an ultrasonic probe and processing circuitry. The probe conducts ultrasonic scanning on a three-dimensional area of a subject and receives a reflected wave from the subject. The circuitry acquires the correspondence relation between a position in ultrasonic image data on the three-dimensional area based on the reflected wave and a position in volume data on the subject captured by a different medical-image diagnostic device. The circuitry receives, from an operator, an operation to set a position marker, which indicates the position at which blood-flow information is extracted, on a scan area of the ultrasonic image data. The circuitry causes the image generated during a rendering process on the ultrasonic image data to be displayed and causes the position marker to be displayed at a corresponding position on a display image based on at least the volume data in accordance with the correspondence relation.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ORIENTATING CAPTURE OF ULTRASOUND IMAGES
A device for a mobile ultrasound unit having an ultrasound probe includes a trained orientation neural network and a result converter. The trained orientation neural network receives a non-canonical image of a body part from the mobile ultrasound unit and generates a transformation transforming between a position and rotation associated with a canonical image and a position and rotation associated with the non-canonical image. The result converter converts the transformation into position and/or rotation instructions of the probe and displays the position and/or rotation instructions to a user to change the position and/or rotation of the probe.
ULTRASONIC IMAGING SYSTEM
An ultrasonic imaging system includes an ultrasonic probe and a processing unit. The ultrasonic probe is operable at multiple different tilt angles to perform ultrasonic measurement and to obtain a plurality 2D ultrasonic images corresponding respectively to the different tilt angles. The processing unit calculates a 3D ultrasonic images based on the 2D ultrasonic images and the corresponding tilt angles.
ULTRASOUND SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD OF ULTRASOUND SYSTEM
In an ultrasound system and a control method of the ultrasound system, a first position of an ultrasound probe on a nipple of a subject and a second position of the ultrasound probe on epidermis above a region of interest in a three-dimensional space are acquired, and the region of interest and the epidermis in an ultrasound image are specified. A first linear distance L1 from the first position to the second position in the three-dimensional space and a second linear distance L2 from the region of interest to the epidermis above the region of interest in the ultrasound image are calculated. Then, a third linear distance L3 from the nipple to the region of interest in the ultrasound image is calculated on the basis of the first linear distance L1 and the second linear distance L2.
MEDICAL IMAGING METHOD
Methods and systems are provided for generating ultrasound probe motion recommendations. In one example, a method includes obtaining an ultrasound image of a source scan plane, the ultrasound image acquired with an ultrasound probe at a first location relative to a patient, entering the ultrasound image as input to a probe recommendation model trained to output a set of recommendations to move the ultrasound probe from the first location to a plurality of additional locations at which a plurality of target scan planes can be imaged, and displaying the set of recommendations on a display device.

A guidance apparatus is provided for use with a portable imaging apparatus and an image display. The guidance apparatus comprises a coupling mechanism which may include a slip ring portion structured for receiving the imaging apparatus therein. The coupling mechanism can be structured for: facilitating orienting the image display device to provide a direct line of sight of an area imaged by the imaging apparatus; adjusting to facilitate rotation of the image display device in at least one 360-degree plane of rotation about a longitudinal axis extending through the imaging apparatus; allowing selection of an image display device position associated with a viewing angle of the image display device; and allowing the coupling mechanism, the image display device, and the imaging apparatus, in combination, to be held in a single hand of a user during performance of an imaging procedure.
