Further, the rear panel is attached to the front panel along a periphery of the rear panel in at least a part forming a torso portion and two leg portions of the garment. Described herein is an infant or toddler sleep device or accessory in the form of a garment with two detachable or non-removable weighted sleevesone for each armto provide gentle pressure on the infant's arms to reduce the moro (startle) reflex. This device safely mimics the swaddling effect by adequately reducing the startle reflex and flailing of arms and safely exerting the benefits of deep pressure touch stimulation (DPST) without weighing down the infant's torso, thus helping baby sleep safely for longer periods of time.
