Girl's dress from man's dress shirt
A dress created from a shirt is disclosed, such as a dress for an infant, toddler, or small girl created from a man's button-down shirt. The shirt is cut horizontally with a portion below the cut forming a skirt with pleats formed by partially deforming and closing the top side of the skirt while it sewed to a torso of the dress. The torso is also cut from the same shirt, having two arm holes and a front and back side sewn together but being, in embodiments, reversed from the front and back side of the shirt in order that a placket of the button-down shirt is split with a portion in the back side of the torso and a portion in the front side of the skirt in embodiments of the disclosed technology.

HOODED INFANT UNDERGARMENT
The apparatuses and methods according to the various embodiments of the present invention provide a thermal regulating infant safety undergarment. The garment is preferably lightweight but insulating and is essentially a one piece garment. A hood, which may be detachable, is sized to allow for conformance to the infant's head and to provide a snug fit to enhance the insulating aspect of the undergarment. The hood is attached with tape, velcro, or other fasteners which would minimize the choking hazard for infants. The hood may be interchangeably used with other one piece garments which are configured to detachably receive the hood, the hood being adjustable to accommodate different head/neck sizes.

An absorbent pad is disposed centrally on an interior surface of the flexible body, such that the absorbent pad can absorb fluid waste to protect the flexible body.

A bodysuit has a closure that is located near the waist area of the infant on which the bodysuit is worn. The bodysuit can have a water-resistant interior that is able to be wiped down and cleaned in the event of an accident. The bodysuit allows changing of the diaper without disturbing the infant.
