A protective article is disclosed including a sheet with a first surface, and at least one adhesive portion arranged on the first surface. The adhesive is a water-based adhesive, such as a water-based acrylic adhesive, that allows the sheet to be non-permanently adhered to an object. The adhesive may be sprayed, rolled, printed, or stamped onto the first surface.

Protective outer garments disclosed herein can include an integrated, or connected, substantially resilient front protective portion and a moisture impervious barrier. The substantially resilient front protective portion can include a holder, like a traditional bib, for catching and holding food and liquids dropped or spilled by the wearer while eating, painting, making crafts, or other activity. The water resistance allows the bib to be a protectant shield, for example shielding a baby's clothes from being soiled during feeding. The bib can include a collar, a base, and a fastener. The collar can be an extended flap of material that is tucked underneath the body and underneath clothes around the neck of the baby, providing additional soil protection. The base can be a flexible and large flap of material that expands into a receptacle. The fastener securely attaches the expanded base to an object, such as a high chair. Fastening the bib forms a sealed barrier between the baby's chin and the object, allowing any debris to be caught in the receptacle at the bib's base.

The bib member includes a body having a front layer and back layer with an internal filler therebetween. The body of the bib member includes a plurality of horizontally stitched lines throughout the body to retain the placement of the internal filler. The body includes a top portion, a middle portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is positioned over a shoulder area and extends down a backside of the upper body area to a middle back area and extends down a frontside of the upper body area to a top region of a breast area to absorb staining particles presented on the frontside and backside of the upper body area above the breast area. The middle portion includes a cut out region in the body, the cut out region is positioned around the breast area so that the middle portion of the bib member surrounds the outside breast area. The bottom portion extends downward from the middle portion so that the bottom of the bib member is positioned underneath the breast area to absorb staining particles presented beneath the breast. The bottom portion has a width wider than the top portion. The width of the bottom portion is wide enough to provide full coverage from staining particles across the full width of the breast area.

A protective nursing garment including a bib member for attachment to an upper body area of a wearer. The bib member includes a body having a front layer and back layer with an internal filler therebetween. The disposable sticky bib comprises a sticky bib main body and a sticky tongue, wherein the sticky bib main body is provided with a waterproof layer, a water-absorbing layer and a permeable layer, the water-absorbing layer is arranged between the permeable layer and the waterproof layer, and a sticking layer and a first anti-sticking layer capable of covering the sticking layer are arranged on the inner side face of the waterproof layer; and the shape of the upper edge of the sticky bib main body is consistent with the shape of the upper edge of a front collar, and the sticky tongue can be bent and stuck on the inner side of the front collar.
