Automation system for process automation and a corresponding method
An automation system for process automation including at least one automation device which has at least one fieldbus interface for connection to a bus for transmitting process data, an arithmetic unit, a digital data memory and a data interface for transmitting program-flow-related event data; and an analysis device connected to the at least one automation device. The automation device is set up to run one or more computer programs with the aid of the arithmetic unit and to capture program flow events occurring during the running of the at least one computer program and to store them together with current time information as program-flow-related event data in the digital data memory, and wherein the arithmetic unit of the automation device is set up to continuously send the program-flow-related event data stored in the digital data memory to the analysis device connected via the data interface.
Communication enabled circuit breakers and circuit breaker panels
Communication enabled circuit breakers and circuit breaker panels are described. Methods associated with such communication enabled circuit breakers and circuit breaker panels are also described. A circuit breaker panel may include a circuit breaker controller and one or more communication enabled circuit breakers. Two-way wireless communication is possible between the circuit breaker controller and the one or more communication enabled circuit breakers.
DOOR SYSTEM WITH IMPROVED INSTALLATION, SET-UP, AND CLONING
A door system includes a controller for controlling the door system. A user computer system transmits information to the controller over a wireless connection to modify operating parameters for controlling the operation of the door system. During installation of the door system sensors may be utilized to determine if the door system has been installed properly. The sensors may be used to identify if the door system is mounted level and plum, and to review the movement, vibration, speed, acceleration, force, or the like of the sensors, and thus, the components to which the sensors are operatively coupled in order to make adjustments to the door assembly. Furthermore, the operating parameters of the installed door system, may be cloned and provided to other door systems in order to quickly clone and distribute the operating parameters of one or more door systems to one or more other door systems.
INCOMPATIBILITY NOTIFICATION AND OPTIMAL COMPATIBLE SOLUTION
The present disclosure relates generally to systems and methods for providing sets of compatible firmware versions (e.g., cross-compatibility solution) for flashing (e.g., programming or re-programming) different devices of a network of devices (e.g., an industrial automation system) when using a flashing application. Providing the compatible firmware versions of such network of devices may facilitate flashing the devices with compatible firmware, based on a topology of the network of devices, to prevent functional errors in the network of devices. The present systems and methods may also be applicable to determining and providing cross-compatibility solution between different firmware, as well as software, used by different devices of a network of devices. That said, although embodiments described herein are with respect to providing sets of compatible firmware versions for firmware associated with devices of a network, it should be appreciated that similar systems and methods may provide sets of compatible software versions associated with various devices of a network.
Blockchain-based automation architecture cybersecurity
To provide a trusted, secure, and immutable record of transactions within a process plant, techniques are described for utilizing a distributed ledger in process control systems. The distributed ledger may be maintained by nodes which receive transactions broadcasted from field devices, controllers, operator workstations, or other devices operating within the process plant. The transactions may include process plant data, such as process parameter data, product parameter data, configuration data, user interaction data, maintenance data, commissioning data, plant network data, and product tracking data. The distributed ledgers may also be utilized to execute smart contracts to allow machines such as field devices to transact by themselves without human intervention. In this manner, recorded process parameter values and product parameter values may be retrieved to verify the quality of products. Moreover, regulatory data may be recorded in response to triggering events so that regulatory agencies can review the data.

COMMUNICATION ENABLED CIRCUIT BREAKERS
Wireless communication enabled circuit breakers are described. Methods associated with such wireless communication enabled circuit breakers are also described. The wireless communication enabled circuit breakers may controlled by a remote entity. The remote entity may wirelessly case the wireless communication enabled circuit breakers to trip.
Information handling system license management through NFC
A portable information handling system having an NFC device obtains identifier information from information handling systems through NFC and applies the identifier information to obtain license keys for applications stored on the information handling system from a license server through a network interface. NFC transfer of license keys in a secure environment, such as to server information handling system management controller in a data center, provides the convenience of public license servers without the security risk of an open public network access to the management controller.
