ULTRASOUND IMAGING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE WITH AN ADJUSTABLE NEEDLE GUIDE
Various methods and ultrasound imaging systems are provided for automatically calculating and displaying a setting for an adjustable needle guide. An exemplary method includes acquiring an image including a target with an ultrasound probe and displaying the image on a display device. The method includes receiving an input, via a user interface, identifying the target in the image. The method includes automatically calculating, with a processor, the setting for an adjustable needle guide that is configured to be attached to the ultrasound probe based on the identified target in the image, wherein the setting is at least one of an angle measurement for the adjustable needle guide or one of a plurality of angular positions for the adjustable needle guide. The method includes displaying the setting for the adjustable needle guide on the display device.
UNIVERSAL ULTRASOUND DEVICE AND RELATED APPARATUS AND METHODS
A universal ultrasound device having an ultrasound probe includes a semiconductor die; a plurality of ultrasonic transducers integrated on the semiconductor die, the plurality of ultrasonic transducers configured to operate a first mode associated with a first frequency range and a second mode associated with a second frequency range, wherein the first frequency range is at least partially non-overlapping with the second frequency range; and control circuitry configured to: control the plurality of ultrasonic transducers to generate and/or detect ultrasound signals having frequencies in the first frequency range, in response to receiving an indication to operate the ultrasound probe in the first mode; and control the plurality of ultrasonic transducers to generate and/or detect ultrasound signals having frequencies in the second frequency range, in response to receiving an indication to operate the ultrasound probe in the second mode.
Ultrasound diagnosis apparatus and method of acquiring shear wave elasticity data with respect to object cross-section in 3D
An ultrasound diagnosis apparatus includes a two-dimensional (2D) array ultrasound probe configured to emit focused beams onto focusing points and detect echo signals; and a processor configured to determine the focusing points on a cross-section of interest and acquire shear wave elasticity data with respect to the cross-section of interest based on the detected echo signals.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR PROVIDING INDICATIONS OF MISSING LANDMARKS IN ULTRASOUND IMAGES
Methods and apparatuses for providing indications of missing landmarks in ultrasound images are described. Some embodiments are directed to apparatuses comprising a processing device configured to obtain data representing an ultrasound image, and determine whether the ultrasound image is clinically usable, wherein the determining comprises determining whether the ultrasound image lacks one or more landmarks. Determining whether the ultrasound image is clinically usable may further comprise determining a quality value representative of a quality of the ultrasound image and comparing the quality value to a threshold quality value. In some embodiments, landmarks comprise one or more anatomical features, such as a rib, a pleural line and an A line, a liver, and a kidney.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM AND ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
When a basic mode is selected, a basic processing block in an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus operates in real time, to generate a first display image array, and the first display image array is displayed on a display. When an extended mode is selected, necessary information is transferred from the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus to an external information processing apparatus, and an extended processing block in the external information processing apparatus operates in real time, to generate a second display image array. The second display image array is displayed on the display.
Ultrasound diagnostic system and method of controlling ultrasound diagnostic system
In an ultrasound diagnostic system, in a case where a routine test in which a plurality of parts of a subject are sequentially subjected to ultrasound diagnosis in accordance with a determined procedure is performed and in a case where information on the subject is input from an input unit, a workstation-side control unit makes a workstation-side display unit perform a second display in which one past image and a current image including an ultrasound image newly created in an ultrasound diagnostic device with respect to a part corresponding to the one past image are displayed side by side on a past image region and a current image region adjacent to each other, in an arrangement order of a plurality of past images in a past routine test of the subject stored in the storage unit.
Method and system for ultrasound imaging multiple anatomical zones
A method and ultrasound imaging system for performing an ultrasound examination. The method and system includes entering a workflow and displaying a plurality of graphical icons positioned on a graphical model. The method and system includes selecting a first anatomical zone, acquiring a first image, and saving and associating the first image with the first anatomical zone. The method and system includes saving and associating a first clinical finding with the first anatomical zone. The method and system includes selecting a second anatomical zone, acquiring a second image, and saving and associating the second image with the second anatomical zone. The method and system includes saving and associating a second clinical finding with the second anatomical zone. The method and system include displaying an examination overview including the first image, the first clinical finding, the second image, and the second clinical finding.
Control device, control method, control system, and non-transitory recording medium for superimpose display
A control device acquires a plurality of images including an ultrasound image and a photoacoustic image taken in an examination, selects a first image and a second image to be displayed superimposed on the first image, based on information relating to the examination, and generates an object for outputting at least information for displaying the second image superimposed on the first image to an external device.
ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM, ULTRASOUND DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS, AND DIAGNOSIS ASSISTING SERVER
A display frame data array is transferred from an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus to a diagnosis assisting server. The display frame data array is analyzed in the diagnosis assisting server, and a diagnosis assisting data array is generated. The diagnosis assisting data array is transferred from the diagnosis assisting server to the ultrasound diagnostic apparatus. A display processing unit combines the display frame data array and the diagnosis assisting data array while synchronizing the data arrays.
PLAYBACK METHODS FOR CONTRAST-ENHANCED ULTRASOUND MOVIE FILE AND ULTRASOUND MOVIE FILE AND ULTRASOUND APPARATUS
Disclosed are a method for playing a CEUS movie file, an ultrasound movie file, and ultrasound apparatus. The method comprises: receiving a playing instruction for the movie file which is a dynamic data of generated by ultrasound echoes returned from a target tissue to which ultrasound waves are transmitted by a probe of an ultrasound apparatus; determining an imaging frame rate of the ultrasound images; determining a playback frame rate of the movie file according to the imaging frame rate negatively correlated with the playback frame rate; and playing the movie file with the playback frame rate. By using the playback frame rate which is negatively correlated with the imaging frame rate to play movie files, the movie files with low frame rate can be played more smoothly and the movie files with high frame rate can be played in line with the look and feel of the human eye.
