METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING POWER DELIVERY TRANSACTION FOR POTENTIAL ELECTRICAL OUTPUT OF INTEGRATED RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCE AND ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM FACILITY
Methods for implementing power delivery transactions between a buyer and a seller of electrical energy supplied to an electrical grid by an integrated renewable energy source (RES) and energy storage system (ESS) of a RES-ESS facility are provided. Estimated total potential output of the RES is compared to a point of grid interconnect (POGI) limit to identify potential RES overgeneration, and the buyer is charged if potential RES overgeneration is less than potential overgeneration during one or more retrospective time windows. The method provides a basis for the RES-ESS facility owner to be paid for an estimated amount of energy that did not get stored as a result of a grid operator not fully discharging an ESS prior to the start of a new day.
Process fluid path switching in recipe operations
A method includes identifying time values for a length of time to carry out process fluid delivery within multiple processing chambers that concurrently process multiple substrates; translating each time value to a recipe parameter for execution of an operation of a processing recipe; and causing the operation to be performed using each recipe parameter as a control value to control valves of a fluid panel of the multiple processing chambers. For each processing chamber of the multiple processing chambers: causing the process fluid to flow to the processing chamber for a first period of time corresponding to a first time value; and causing the process fluid to flow to a divert foreline of the processing chamber for a second period of time, the second period of time being based on a timestep of the operation and the time value.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS UTILIZING AC OVERBUILT RENEWABLE ELECTRIC GENERATION RESOURCE AND CHARGE STORAGE DEVICE PROVIDING DESIRED CAPACITY FACTOR
An integrated renewable energy source (RES) and energy storage system (ESS) facility configured to supply power to an AC electrical grid includes energy storage system capacity and inverter capacity that are larger than a point of grid interconnect (POGI) limit for the facility, enabling high capacity factors and production profiles that match a desired load. At least one first DC-AC power inverter is associated with RES, and at least one second AC-DC power inverter is associated with the ESS. AC-DC conversion is used when charging the ESS with RES AC electric power, and DC-AC conversion utility is used when discharging ESS AC electric power to the electric grid. Aggregate DC-AC inverter utility exceeds the facility POGI limit, and excess RES AC electric power may be diverted to the second inverter(s).
DETERMINING BACKFLOW CONDITION IN WATER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
A data collection device and method for determining a backflow condition in a water distribution system. The data collection device receives a first data communication from a first node, the first data communication indicating a first possible backflow condition at the first node. The data collection device receives additional data communications from one or more second nodes, the additional data communications indicating backflow conditions at the second nodes. The data collection device aggregates and analyzes the first data value and the additional data values and determines that an actual backflow condition exists based on the aggregated data values and a known relationship between the first node and the second nodes. The data collection device may then perform action(s) in response to determining the backflow condition, such as reporting the backflow condition, requesting updated reporting from the nodes, closing appropriate valves, initiating pumps to increase water pressure, flushing the system, etc.
BUILDING NETWORK
A tintable window is described having a tintable coating, e.g., an electrochromic device coating, for regulating light transmitted through the window. In some embodiments, the window has a transparent display in the window's viewable region. Transparent displays may be substantially transparent when not in use, or when the window is viewed in a direction facing away from the transparent display. Windows may have sensors for receiving user commands and/or for monitoring environmental conditions. Transparent displays can display graphical user interfaces to, e.g., control window functions. Windows, as described herein, offer an alternative display to conventional projectors, TVs, and monitors. Windows may also be configured to receive, transmit, or block wireless communications from passing through the window. A window control system may share computational resources between controllers (e.g., at different windows). In some cases, the computational resources of the window control system are utilized by other building systems and devices.
AUTONOMOUS TRAVEL-TYPE CLEANER AND CONTROL METHOD
An autonomous travel-type cleaner includes a housing, a drive unit for moving the housing, an incoming call detector that detects whether or not there is an incoming call to a communication terminal, a person detector that detects whether or not a person is present within a first range, an incoming call notification unit (for example, a light source and a speaker) for notifying of presence of an incoming call, and a controller. The controller controls a notification operation of the incoming call notification unit based on a detection result of the person detector and a detection result of the incoming call detector.
RAPID INLINE DIFFERENTIAL WATER ANALYZER
In one embodiment, a differential water data analysis system includes a data storage, a user interface, and a processor coupled to the data storage and programmed with software to: receive inflow water measurement data from a water inflow line entering a water treatment system and outflow water measurement data from a water outflow line exiting the water treatment system, the inflow water measurement data and outflow water measurement data being obtained by measuring the water in the water inflow line and the water outflow line at about the same time and being received in real time; compare the inflow water measurement data and the outflow water measurement data; compute a performance of the water treatment system based on the comparison using a computation scheme; determine whether the performance is within specification of the water treatment system to produce a determination output; and display the determination output in the user interface.
Elevator control and user interface system
An elevator system includes a drive controller configured to actuate a drive motor of an elevator drive assembly. A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes program instructions that cause a processor to retrieve a set of rules of the elevator system, generate at least one graphical user interface by applying the set of rules to at least one design template, calculate an acceptance score for the at least one graphical user interface based on a user profile of an administrator, and publish the at least one graphical user interface based at least partially on the acceptance score. The elevator system further includes a display device configured to display the graphical user interface after it is published and cause the drive controller to actuate the drive motor based on user input of a selection of at least one selectable option on the at least one graphical user interface.
