METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING A FUNCTIONALITY USING DISCRETE VALUES OR DISCRETE CLASSES OF VALUES ON THE INPUT OR OUTPUT SIDE
A method for diagnosing a functionality having an input or output signal with discrete values or discrete classes of values which are observable quantities of a diagnosis functionality. The signal to be diagnosed is the input or output signal, where the values or classes of values have a cardinality N, where N error counters are provided. The method includes providing a sum signal from the sum of the signals of the error counters. When a value or a class of values is erroneous, the method includes incrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the erroneous value or the erroneous class. When the value or the class is correct, the method includes decrementing the signal of the error counter assigned to the value or the class and when the sum signal exceeds a pre-established limit value, the method includes outputting an error message of the functionality.
METHOD FOR TRANSFERRING DATA FROM AN ACTUATING ELEMENT TO A CONTROL UNIT, CORRESPONDING ACTUATING ELEMENT AND CORRESPONDING CONTROL UNIT
A method for transferring data from an actuating element to a control unit activating the actuating element. The control unit activates an inductance contained in the actuating element, for the transfer of the data in the actuating element in parallel to the inductance, a load being connected in parallel, or not.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING A HYBRID AIR/LIQUID COOLING SYSTEM OF A BUILDING
A device may monitor an intake temperature of an air flow through an air intake of a building that includes a ventilation system for temperature control of a first region of the building, a liquid cooling system for temperature control of equipment that is within a second region of the building, and a heat exchanger that is thermally coupled to the ventilation system and the liquid cooling system. The device may determine that the intake temperature is below a threshold temperature. The device may control the ventilation system to cause the air flow to cool a water flow of the liquid cooling system via the heat exchanger to produce a cooled water flow. The device may control the liquid cooling system to cause the cooled water flow of the liquid cooling system to bypass a chiller system of the liquid cooling system to reduce power consumption by the chiller system.
Integrated Tamper Detection System And Methods
The present application describes an integrated module. The integrated module includes a microcontroller, an inertial measurement unit (IMU), a low-power accelerometer, and an environmental sensor. A noise target between the IMU and low-power accelerometer is less than a noise target be the IMU and microcontroller. The present application also describes a method of using an integrated module.
Systems and methods for managing environmental conditions
Disclosed are systems and methods for adjusting environmental conditions based on automatically and manually generated requests. A commissioned unit comprising at least one IP luminaire (140, 150), transmits a signal comprising one or more identification codes. The signal may be, for example, a coded light signal. An environment control device (160) receives the signal, detects user input indicating one or more preferred environmental conditions, and transmits an environment control request comprising the one or more preferred environmental conditions. An environment manager module (110) receives the environment control request, generates an environment control command using the control request, and transmits the environment control command to one or more commissioned units to alter environmental conditions in a space in accordance with the user input.
Redundant voltage delivery with active cables
A computer controls voltage supply for a system that includes a plurality of active cables. The computer determines that a first voltage source included in a first cable has failed to provide a required amount of voltage to the first cable. The computer switches the first cable to a second voltage source included in a second cable. The second voltage source provides voltage to the first cable.
BIOREACTOR CONTROLLER DEVICE AND RELATED METHOD THEREOF
The present invention provides a bioreactor controller with a simple user interface comprising a microcontroller and a linear motor. The bioreactor controller is microcontroller-based, has a greater temporal accuracy, and inexpensive. The microcontroller of the bioreactor controller selects a protocol mode and a setup mode by the user, runs the protocol mode if the setup mode is not selected by the user, stops running the protocol mode for a predetermined time if the protocol mode is selected by the user until the user is completed with calculations and record-keeping, detects movement error of the bioreactor controller, and informs the error to the user.
Intelligent fan control system with interface compatibility
An intelligent fan control system with interface compatibility is provided. The intelligent fan control system can identify and control fans one-to-one connected to fan slots, and each fan slot includes four pins. The intelligent fan control system includes a bus; an I2C signal switching unit including SDA outputs one-to-one connected to third pin of the fan slots via the bus; an I2C signal switching unit including SCL outputs one-to-one connected to fourth pins of the fan slots via the bus; voltage control units one-to-one corresponding to the fan slots, and having output terminals one-to-one connected to second pins of the fan slots; connection line sets, and each connection line set including four connection lines and connected to the corresponding fan slot; a control board comprising port sets, and can control and switch the I2C signal switching unit to the fan slots in sequence, to transmit the corresponding I2C signal.
Systems and methods for managing a scooter fleet based on geolocation
Systems and methods are provided herein for managing scooter fleets based on geolocation boundaries. In certain embodiments, individual scooters of the scooter fleet may be associated with geographical areas in which they are allowed to operate, and such areas may be defined by a geolocation boundary. The geographical areas may be provided to prevent scooters from being used and subsequently left in an undesirable location (for example, at an airport terminal or an area where crime is commonplace).
HIBERNATE CONTROL CIRCUITS FOR BATTERY POWER SWITCHING
In one embodiment, a vehicle telematics device is disclosed with a hibernate control circuit. The hibernate control circuit can selective switch battery power on and off to hibernatable circuits. The hibernate control circuit can be responsive to external main power availability, battery charge condition, and a periodic low frequency clock in the generation of a battery switch enable A power supply switch can be selectively controlled by the battery switch enable signal to switch battery power on and off to the hibernatable circuits.
