The peer-to-peer application includes a controlling means configured to provide a second function module to the first appliance device by means of the peer-to-peer module assigned to the first appliance device, and the first appliance device is configured to operate in accordance with the second function module in order to provide at least one second function.
Dishwasher with cloud connected cameras
Systems and methods for monitoring dish ware position and modifying the wash and dry cycle of a dishwasher by capturing and analyzing image data utilizing a plurality of cloud-connected cameras.
APPLIANCE COMPONENT FAULT DETECTION
An appliance having a current sensor configured to monitor load current in the appliance associated with operation of one or more components for determining a fault condition thereof. The appliance comprises a smart controller configured to control operations of the appliance and the one or more components each configured to perform an operation of the appliance in response to the smart controller. An input/output (IO) circuit coupled to the smart controller via a local data bus is configured to receive commands from the smart controller and to control the one or more components in response thereto.
Equipment unit state controlling method and device, and equipment unit
An equipment unit state controlling method and device, and an equipment unit. After receiving control data transmitted from a state controller, a unit controller detects whether the unit controller communicates with a display panel controller, in which the state controller transmits the control data to the unit controller and the display panel controller simultaneously. If the unit controller communicates with the display panel controller, the unit controller performs an operation on the equipment unit corresponding to instruction information transmitted from the display panel controller, and if the unit controller does not communicate with the display panel controller, the unit controller parses the control data by itself to obtain the parsing result and performs the operation on the equipment unit corresponding to the parsing result.
KITCHEN DEVICE
A kitchen device (100) including: abase (102) having a mechanism (118) that is operated using electrical power to cause processing of food; a vessel (104) removably mounted on the base (102) and including a bottom wall (108), a side wall (110) extending upwardly from the bottom wall (108) to a rim (112) so as to provide a space (114) to receive the food to be processed, with the rim (112) surrounding an opening (116) to the space (114); a lid (106) removably coupled to the rim (112) so as to at least partially close the opening (116); and an interlock system (120) operatively associated with the mechanism (118) to permit the delivery of the electric power to the mechanism (118), the system (120) including a first interlock circuit (122) and a second interlock circuit (124), wherein delivery of the electric power to the mechanism (118) is permitted by the completion of the first interlock circuit (122) and activation of the second interlock circuit (124), wherein the first interlock circuit (122) includes a first coupling (126) to complete the first circuit (122), the first coupling (126) including a first portion (128) mounted to the lid (106) and a second portion (130) mounted to the vessel (104) adjacent the rim (112) so that the first portion (128) is located adjacent the second portion (130) when the lid (106) is coupled to the rim (112) thereby completing the first circuit (122), and wherein the second interlock circuit (124) includes a second coupling (136) to activate the second interlock circuit (124), the second coupling (136) including a first portion (138) that is part of the second interlock circuit (124) and mounted to the base (102), the first portion (138) being operatively associated with a second portion (140) that is mounted to the vessel (104) and part of the first interlock circuit (122), wherein completion of the first interlock circuit (122) causes operation of the second portion (140) of the second coupling (136), thereby causing operation of the first portion (138) of the second coupling (136) to thus activate the second interlock circuit (124) and permit delivery of the electric power to the mechanism (118).
Controlling heat capability of appliance according to user proximity and notifying remote users via internet for increased safety
A stove controller starts an unattended timer when a cooking process is started. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the unattended timer expiring and resets the unattended timer each time motion is detected. If the unattended timer expires without any motion being detected, the controller disables the heating elements of the stove and starts a return timer. The controller monitors whether motion is detected in the kitchen prior to the return timer expiring. When motion is detected, the controller automatically re-enables the heating elements of the stove so that cooking can continue. If motion is not detected and the return timer expires, the controller locks the stove until a reset procedure is performed. Alerts of the stove activity are sent to external devices over the Internet, and the reset procedure may be performed on the controller or on one of the external devices.
