REMOTE FEATURE ACTIVATION IN POWER MACHINES

Implementations of the present disclosure are generally directed to activating features in power machines. More particularly, implementations of the present disclosure are directed to remote activation of features in power machines. Implementations include, methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for transmitting a request for an initialization indicator for a software package from an initialization system of a power machine comprising hardware physically capable of executing at least one function, the request being transmitted, by a communication link of the initialization system, from a machine controller of the initialization system to a remote system, communicating, by the communication link, the initialization indicator from the remote system to the machine controller, and in response to receiving the initialization indicator: storing, by the machine controller, the initialization indicator, and executing, by the machine controller, the software package to control the at least one function.

The present invention provides an automated product transport and storage system designed to enhance efficiency, precision, and safety in logistics and delivery operations. The system includes automated bots, such as porch bots, railed fork bots, and railed crane bots, which perform tasks like loading, unloading, and positioning products within transport vehicles. These bots reduce the reliance on manual labor, mitigate the risk of injuries, and improve productivity by operating autonomously or semi-autonomously in confined or complex environments, such as urban and suburban delivery routes. The system is equipped with advanced control systems, GPS tracking, and obstacle detection, enabling precise navigation and real-time responsiveness. Versatile and adaptable, the system can be used across various industries, from food distribution to industrial supply chains, while reducing infrastructure requirements and contributing to energy efficiency. This invention represents a significant advancement in automated logistics and product handling.

REFUSE COLLECTION VEHICLE CONTROLS

A refuse collection vehicle includes a grabber that is operable to engage a refuse container, a lift arm that is operable to lift a refuse container, at least one sensor that is arranged to collect data indicating an angular position of the grabber, at least one sensor that is arranged to collect data indicating a relative positioning of the lift arm, a first controller for adjusting the angular position of the grabber, and a second controller adjusting the relative positioning of the lift arm. The adjustment of the angular position of the grabber is coordinated with the adjustment of the relative positioning of the lift arm.

Smart powered industrial vehicle and systems

Disclosed herein are features and improvements for a powered industrial vehicle, such as a forklift. In some embodiments, the forklift may have improved geometry and sensors. In some embodiments, the forklift may include an operator interface system for controlling powered industrial vehicles based on the field of view of an operator. In some embodiments, the forklift may include an integrated control system such that the operator cannot perform a certain operation without first performing a different, prior operation and/or such that the operator cannot perform two or more operations simultaneously which would result in unsafe operation. In some embodiments, a virtual reality simulator for the forklift may be provided.
