ANOMALY DETECTION IN A REFRIGERATION CONDENSOR SYSTEM
Embodiments for fault diagnosis and analysis of refrigeration condenser systems by a processor. An energy usage anomaly is detected in a condenser by comparing an energy usage profile of the condenser against a knowledge domain of energy usage standards and energy usage standards anomalies.
Method for controlling electrical appliance, and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium
A method for controlling an electrical appliance, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The control method comprises: receiving a voice control instruction (S101); when the identity of a user who issued the voice control instruction is determined to be a child, acquiring a child knowledge graph (S102); when determined that a control object is a first electrical appliance, determining whether a knowledge expression corresponding to the first electrical appliance exists in the child knowledge graph (S103); if a knowledge expression corresponding to the first electrical appliance doesn't exist in the child knowledge graph, then not responding to the voice control instruction; otherwise, carrying out processing on the voice control instruction according to the knowledge expression corresponding to the first electrical appliance in the child knowledge graph (S104).
Control system bypassing for industrial cold storage
Some embodiments include a control bypass system for industrial cold storage facilities. In some embodiments, the control bypass system includes a cloud scheduler and a bypass controller. The cloud scheduler may be located in a remote location. The cloud scheduler may create a power draw prescription for one or more items of cold storage equipment at the industrial cold storage facility. The power draw prescription, for example, can include a desired power draw level for one or more items of cold storage equipment at the industrial cold storage facility and the desired power draw level changes over a period of time. The bypass controller can be located at the industrial cold storage facility and receives the power draw prescription from the cloud scheduler, produces an environmental setpoint for the one or more items of equipment, and outputs the environmental setpoint to a device or system controller.
FOODSTUFF SENSING APPLIANCE
An appliance includes a temperature control system, a light source, and a spectrometer. The spectrometer works in conjunction with the light source to obtain a measured value of a foodstuff. The measured value is at least one of an absorbance value, a transmittance value, and a reflectance value. The measured value from the foodstuff is compared to a reference value for the foodstuff.
SYSTEM FOR MONITORING AN OPEN CONTAINER
Examples provide a system for monitoring an open container. A set of sensors captures sensor data associated with one or more items within an open container, such as, but not limited to, a food warmer or a refrigerated/freezer display case. The set of sensors may include one or more infrared (IR) cameras. The set of sensors transmits the sensor data to a monitoring component. The monitoring component processes the sensor data to identify factor(s) associated with one or more items, such as temperature, location of the item, state changes, and freshness of the one or more items. If a factor for a given item exceeds a predetermined threshold value for that factor, the monitoring system outputs an alert notification to a user interface.
FOOD FRESHNESS MANAGEMENT
Disclosed aspects relate to food freshness management. A freshness triggering event may be identified for a food item. The freshness triggering event may indicate that a criterion related to the food item has been achieved. A food freshness management action may be determined. The food freshness management action may be determined to respond to the freshness triggering event for the food item. The food freshness management action may be initiated. The food freshness management action may be carried-out with respect to the freshness triggering event for the food item.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MONITORING REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for monitoring health of a refrigeration system. The present disclosure also relates to an Internet Of Things (IOT) enabled method and system for monitoring health of the WIF based on performance parameters like defrost cycle related parameters, defrost cycle duration, schedule and frequency. In one embodiment, the method receives a plurality of real-time temperature data collected by a temperature sensor and determines a steady state value based on the received real-time temperature data. Further, the method computes a plurality of defrost cycle parameter values and generate alarm signals based on deviations of the computed defrost cycle parameters from the respective threshold values. The method generates reports indicating patterns of defrost duration and defrost distribution over a time and provide recommendations to support maintenance of the refrigeration system in response to the deviations.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MONITORING BELT TENSION AND DETERMINING BELT LIFESPAN IN A TRANSPORT REFRIGERATION UNIT
Methods and systems for monitoring belt tension and determining belt lifespan in a TRS are disclosed. An embodiment of a self-tensioner can include a sensor connected to a self-tensioner in a belt driven system and a magnet that passes over the sensor to generate a signal. The sensor detects the signal, and the signal in conjunction with an angle of the magnet is converted into a voltage value. The method can include a controller connected to the self-tensioner, the controller converts the voltage value into a tension value, and stores the tension value among a plurality of premeasured tension values in a memory, where the controller compares the tension value and the plurality of premeasured tension values to determine a belt tension condition of the belt in the belt-driven system.
REFRIGERATOR FOOD INVENTORY PRESERVATION
A refrigerator appliance includes a user interface, an environmental control system, a plurality of compartments disposed within the food storage chamber, each compartment of the plurality of compartments defining a food storage sub-chamber, at least one of the food storage sub-chambers having independently controlled environmental conditions, the independently controlled environmental conditions of the at least one food storage sub-chamber comprising temperature and humidity, at least one sensor associated with each food storage sub-chamber having independently controlled environmental conditions, and a controller in operative communication with the user interface, the environmental control system, and the at least one sensor, the controller operable to identify a food item, determine preferred environmental conditions for storage of the identified food item, and provide an indication of which of the food storage sub-chambers most closely matches the determined preferred storage conditions.
