A one-piece garment, specially a onesie for infants and toddlers, comprising a magnetic closure system, wherein a caregiver may quickly and efficiently change an infant's diaper without having to remove the one-piece garment and without having to struggle with the closure mechanism. An improved onesie magnetic closure system having a front panel containing one or more magnets of a positive or negative polarity, and a back panel containing a corresponding number of complementary magnets having an opposite polarity. The magnetic elements of the front and back panels are attracted and attach to each other, such that the back panel overlaps the front panel and removable attached thereto.

An apparatus includes a material, a first tag portion and a second tag portion. The material may be configured to be worn. The second tag portion may comprise a fastener. The first tag portion and the second tag portion may be attached near an opening of the material. Described embodiments relate to a garment for a baby or infant, the garment comprising a neck opening; two enclosed arm portions configured to each receive an arm of a wearer of the garment, each arm portion sized to allow the wearer to straighten their arm within the arm portion; a waist portion being of a reduced width compared to the width of the garment across the arm portions; a single enclosed leg portion, the leg portion being wider than the waist portion and sized to accommodate two legs of the wearer; and at least one closure. The at least one closure allows for fastening and unfastening of the garment at the neck opening and, independently of the neck opening, at the leg portion.

The disclosure relates to a garment comprising a lower torso portion comprising a front portion, a back portion, and a strap portion configured to couple the back portion and the front portion. The strap portion is fixed to one of the back portion or the front portion at one end thereof and free at the other end thereof, and the free end is configured for being removably coupled to the other of the front portion or back portion. The strap portion is configured for being circumferentially disposed over the pubis mound and between legs of the user. The strap portion comprises a first magnetic closure coupled to the free end thereof and the other of the front portion or back portion to which the strap portion is removably coupled comprises a second magnetic closure.

In adaptive clothing, magnetic members engage to magnetically fasten a lower front layer and an upper front layer. A first magnetic member is provided in a housing having a base extending beyond the boundaries of the magnet. The base is sewn to fabric. The housing is secured in a placket to be affixed to a garment upper layer. A second magnetic member is placed in an interior enclosure of a lower front layer. A button or other component is secured to the exterior side of the upper front layer to provide the appearance of a buttoned placket. To close the garment, the first magnetic member is brought in proximity to the second magnetic member. The placket may be constructed as a separate unit and attached to the garment in a separate operation, allowing construction of the placket without manipulating the entire garment. Cuffs are prepared in a manner similar to the placket.

A sleep garment for an infant may include an enclosure for enclosing the infant. The enclosure may include one or more accommodation features such as a support element to position under the legs of the infant to elevate the feet, a weight element to position over the infant, or both.

A garment adapted for wearing by a diaper wearer which surrounds a diaper and provides at least one inspection aperture forming an opening through the garment employable for visual, olfactory, or tactile inspection of the underlying diaper without removal of the garment. One or a plurality of the inspection apertures may be provided in inspection positions adapted to locate them aligned with or adjacent the perimeter edge of the underlying diaper.
