METHOD AND ASSEMBLY SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED MACHINE BASED PRODUCT ASSEMBLING

It is proposed to assemble a product on a modular basis from product parts to be assembled, wherein the product assembling being split into two separate operations, by (i) automated machine fetching as well as automated machine placing the product parts part-by-part from a delivery area on optically localized distribution fixtures at a hand-over area in the course of a logistic distribution operation and a distribution fixture placed product part from optically localized distribution fixtures at the hand-over area on optically localized assembly fixtures at an assembly workspace in the course of an assembly operation, (ii) computing and executing by automated machine motion generation primary kinematic machine-motion-sequences and secondary kinematic machine-motion-sequences, (iii) providing an automated machine architecture to enable or ensure, based on a world model for automated machines, a three-dimensional model of an assembly environment, information ANG, of the product and the product parts and an automated machine workflow.

PRODUCTION ACTIVITY SUPPORT SYSTEM

A production activity support system for supporting production activity in a component mounting system, comprises: a production information acquirer obtaining production information including a production plan of a production operation executed in the component mounting system and production performance information; a storage storing maintenance relevant information regarding execution history information indicating a history of the maintenance work executed on each of the maintenance targets; a maintenance work plan creation unit creating a work plan of the maintenance work executed on at the maintenance targets; and a display displaying a notification that the maintenance work indicated by the work plan created by the maintenance work plan creation unit is executed at the set maintenance execution date and time along with the production plan.

MAINTENANCE WORK SUPPORT SYSTEM

In a maintenance work support system for supporting maintenance works in a component mounting system, a storage stores: priority table information defining a maintenance priority for classifying a priority level at which execution of the maintenance work is necessary, based on an association of the recommended maintenance deadline with a use time or a use count of each of the maintenance targets; and execution history information indicating history of the maintenance work executed on each of the maintenance targets. A maintenance work plan creation unit creates a work plan of the maintenance work, based on the maintenance priority calculated by a priority calculator, changed with date and time, based on the execution history information and the priority table information.

Provided is a method and system for creating assembly instructions and using them on a computer system to direct assemblers working in a light-manufacturing environment. The assembly instructions break the assembly process into smaller elemental steps with specific instructions to be performed and verified in sequence during assembly. Each assembly instruction may identify a specific pocket in a matrix tray holding the material to be used in the assembly. Before the assembler begins assembling the manufactured product, in some embodiments, a training history is retrieved with the assembler's experience, If the assembler has fulfilled a prerequisite training sequence or equivalent from the training history, in some embodiments, assembly instructions are provided through the user interface coordinated with multimedia assembly data that guide the assembler to combine materials with the component and complete the assembly.

System and method for generating an assembly sequence for a product

Aspects of the present disclosure provide systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media that support mechanisms for generating a feasible assembly plan for a product based on data analytics. In aspects, information on components of a product is obtained from one or more product models (e.g., a three-dimensional (3D) computer aided design (CAD) model) that define the individual components of the product. The individual component information may be used to represent the assembly of the product as an assembly graph, in which each node of the assembly graph represents one of the components of the product to be assembled. The assembly graph is passed through a set of data analytics modules to generate the feasible assembly plan, or assembly sequence, as a series of sequential contact predictions, wherein each contact prediction identifies a component to be connected to one or more other components of the product.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MATRIX MANUFACTURING WITH WORK CELLS

A manufacturing matrix can include a plurality of work cells. The manufacturing matrix can include a plurality of robotic arms disposed in the plurality of work cells to produce a construction product. The manufacturing matrix can include a storage location to store inventory including at least one of the material, the tool, the subassembly of the construction product, or a completed construction product. The manufacturing matrix can include a transportation system to move the inventory within the manufacturing matrix. The manufacturing matrix can include a data processing system communicably coupled with the plurality of robotic arms and the transportation system. The data processing system can provide a first instruction to a first robotic arm cell and a second instruction to a second robotic arm of the second work cell.
