This invention is related to electrical connections in wearable garments and other articles that enable the transfer of electrical signals or electrical power from one site in the garment or article to another site on the garment or article by the use of an electrical conductor printed along the length of a sewable substrate which bridges the two sites.

A single use undergarment device for travel use includes a pair of underwear that is resiliently stretchable. The pair of underwear has a pair of leg openings that define a crotch area, which comprises fabric, that is positioned between the pair of leg openings.

An undergarment that provides improved seam stretch, includes a center-front pouch, a front-side-and-rear panel and, in some embodiments, a crotch gusset panel. The front-side-and-rear panel is joined to the center-front pouch on either side of the center-front pouch. The center-front pouch is composed of two layers of material, an inner layer and an outer layer, the inner and outer layers and being joined by a center seam of the center-front pouch. Garments wit lightly portions with a concealer and related methods are provided herein. For example, a garment can be provided that comprises a thin, drapeable exterior fabric that forms an exterior portion of the garment and structural seams that hold the exterior fabric to other sections of the garment. The garment also comprises a disc concealer being secured to an interior portion of the garment without being connected at the structural seams at a position where reproductive area of a wearer will reside upon the wearer wearing the garment to added a thin extra layer around the interior area of the garment where the reproductive region is intended to reside.

A male undergarment has a pouch on an inside surface of the front section defined by two of fabric flap portions where each fabric flap portion is folded to define two overlying sheets of the fabric with edges of the sheets stitched into the seam and a folded edge spaced from the first seam toward the crease between the inner thigh and the groin of the wearer so that the crease and inner thigh engage the folded edge rather than the seam for improved comfort. A similar folded flap portion can be provided at the junction between the thigh and the groin.

In order to increase the effectiveness and popularity of the kangaroo care method (skin-to-skin and breastfeeding with newborn baby) in developing countries, especially in order to save and protect weakened babies, the present invention relates to a straightforward, inexpensive solution for facilitating and encouraging this practice; a light, soft, comfortable, flexible garment that allows a baby to be held in a skin-to-skin manner for a long period of time, safely and leaving the hands free, thanks to a built-in, seamless seat, inter alia. As the garment can be used as an undergarment and is one-size-fits-all, it is easier for humanitarian and medical organizations to distribute, and more acceptable according to the cultural and religious criteria governing dress in most developing countries.

A padded compression garment consisting at least of underwear with a gusset (5) between the leg portions, a plurality of interconnected compressing components, and pockets (10) to receive padded inserts (7). This apparatus may be, in other embodiments, the foundation of a pair of leggings, pantyhose, or knee-length shorts; a slip or half-slip; and a compression bodysuit (regardless of sleeve length), all of which may be worn as undergarments or outer garments. The garment consists of two internally located lateral pockets (10), one on each side, that extend from the front outer leg, directly to the back outer leg. Two lateral openings exist at the waistband (3) for the pockets to receive padded inserts (7). Each insert is specifically designed to allow for the raised portion (7a.) of the padding to lay inward against the wearer's hip, while the flattened side (7b.) positions outward against the garment. The garment in combination with the padding serves the purpose of concealing the appearance of hip indentations (hip dips or violin hips), and of fat around the waistline (love handles), to provide the wearer with a generally desired, full hips and curvy silhouette.

A garment including a back panel, a belly panel, a bodice portion, and gussets. The back panel and belly panel are made of compression fabric and the bodice portion and gussets are made of stretchable fabric. The bodice portion is configured to be partially removable to expose an underlying inner nursing layer.
