The garment includes a front portion of a garment, and a back portion of the garment, wherein the front portion of the garment and the back portion of the garment are releasably joined at a left side at a left pair of opposite shoulder portions of the garment using snaps, the left opposite shoulders portions each including a left portion strengthened using twill tape, one side of the left portion strengthened using twill tape including at least one female snap and another side of the left portion strengthened using twill tape including at least one a male snap and at a right side at a right pair of opposite shoulder portions of the garment using snaps, the right opposite shoulders portions each including a right portion strengthened using twill tape, one side of the right portion strengthened using twill tape including at least one female snap and another side of the right portion strengthened using twill tape including at least one a male snap.

A tactical garment assembly is disclosed. The tactical garment assembly may include a base garment with a front face, an opposed back face, a first side, and a second side. The base garment may include at least one appendage and a yoke. The yoke may extend between the front face and the opposed back face. The yoke may include a upper yoke layer and lower yoke layer, and the lower yoke layer may include a vent configured to permit airflow therethrough. The tactical garment assembly may also include at least one extension garment removably coupled to the base garment.

Aspects herein relate to apparel items and apparel systems that utilize applied or printed foam nodes to provide, among other things, stand-off between an apparel item and a wearer's skin surface. One or more of the foam nodes, or areas of the textile surrounding the foam nodes, may be perforated to provide a fluid communication path between an inner-facing surface and an outer-facing surface of the apparel item. The communication path may be used to facilitate air exchange between the external environment and the wearer's body and/or to provide an exit path for moisture vapor generated by the wearer.

A system, method, and foot cover for preventing slippage. The foot cover includes a stretchable lattice configured to be worn over a foot of a user. The stretchable lattice defines a plurality of openings providing ventilation to the foot of the user. A first end of the stretchable lattice encloses toes of the foot of the user. An apparel item configured to reduce the perception of cling is provided herein. The apparel item comprises a first set of outwardly-projecting nodes on a first portion of the apparel item, a second set of outwardly-projecting nodes on a second portion of the apparel item, and a third set of inwardly-projecting nodes on a third portion of the apparel item, where the third set of nodes is positioned between the first set of nodes and the second set of nodes.
