TEMPORARY OCCLUSION BALLOON DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PREVENTING FLOW THROUGH A VASCULAR PERFORATION
An occlusion balloon device includes a shaft comprising at least one inflation lumen and an inflatable balloon, the inflatable balloon having a plurality of independently inflatable and deflatable balloon portions and being in communication with the at least one inflation lumen. A method and a system comprising the occlusion balloon device enable assessment and treatment of a perforation in a vessel of a patient.
VASCULAR CLOSURE DEVICES AND METHODS
Vascular closure devices along with systems and methods of delivery for deploying the vascular closure devices are described herein.
Temporary aids for deployment and fixation of tissue repair implants
Novel deployment devices for use as adjuncts with tissue repair implants. The devices are removeably mounted to mesh tissue repair implant devices to manipulate the devices into position and provide for secure fixation about the periphery of such mesh implant devices by providing guide structures such as grooves for directing and positioning a surgical tacking instrument.
Endoscopic Suture And Cinch Anastomotic Leak Repair Device
A system for treating tissue includes a first fastener including a first anchoring element at a distal end thereof for anchoring the first fastener in a first target portion of tissue extending about a periphery of a tissue defect to be treated and a first suture extending from a proximal end thereof. The system also includes a second fastener including a second anchoring element at a distal end thereof for anchoring the second fastener in a second target portion of tissue extending about a periphery of a tissue defect to be treated and a second suture extending from a proximal end thereof. Furthermore, the system includes a cinch element disposed about both of the first and second sutures and slidable therealong such that a tension applied to the first and second sutures draws the first and second fasteners toward one another to close the tissue defect.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TISSUE RESECTION
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to devices, systems, and methods for tissue resection in a body lumen of a patient, and may include an elongate body having a cavity at a distal end and a tissue retractor extendable distally from the distal end of the elongate body. The tissue retractor may include an expansion mechanism. The expansion mechanism may include a plurality of arms each having a first end coupled around a distal cap and expandable radially outward from the distal cap such that an anchoring mechanism on a second end of the arms is engageable with selected tissue for resection of the body lumen. The tissue resection device may further include a tissue resecting device.
FISTULA TREATEMENT DEVICE
A fistula treatment system comprises a guide such as a guide coil 1101 which is adapted to extend partially around a tissue tract and an implant element 1102. The implant element 1102 is activated to draw tissue surrounding the tract inwardly.
ARTICLE OF MANUFACTURE AND METHOD FOR INCURSION CLOSURE
An article of manufacture in the form of an incursion repair material arranged to establish a watertight seal about an incursion such as a durotomy and secured in place by a securing mechanism. The incursion material may be graft material and/or a flange of selectable shape and size and made of a material suitable to remain in position on the incursion. The incursion repair material is used in a surgical procedure to seal the incursion. The material may be secured in place with one or more sutures only. It may also be secured in place with devices anchored in underlying substrate, such as bone or scar tissue.
Bio-absorbable wound closure device and method
A wound closure device comprises a first frame and a flexible tubular section connected to the first frame, the first frame implantable through a wound in a patient's skin into a lumen of a blood vessel with a portion of the tubular section extending out through the skin. The tubular section has a first portion and a second portion, a wall of the tubular section defining a coaxial inner bore. Twisting the first portion relative to the second portion of the tubular section closes the bore is closed in an area of the tubular section between the first and second portions, thereby closing the wound. Also disclosed is an embodiment for closing an opening in a heart, as well as a delivery device, systems, and methods.
DISPENSER FOR SPRAYING POWDER AND POWDER SPRAYER INCLUDING SAME
The present invention provides a 2-way air flow type dispenser for spraying powder and a powder sprayer including the same. The present invention adopts a 2-way air flow manner in which an air flow causing the powder to be sprayed and an air flow causing the powder to be transferred from a container to a spraying nozzle are separately formed, thereby enabling the smooth spraying of the powder.
Umbilical Orthesis Plug
Disclosed is an umbilical orthesis plug for an infant, child or toddler. The plug comprises a flange and a body, wherein the body is connected to the flange and wherein the body tapers in width from the flange to the end of the plug. Methods for using the plug and kits comprising the plug are also disclosed.
